Yeah, like I said before they ALMOST had plausible deniability; could've just said "we've made sweaters like this for a lot of schools, it just so happens Kent State's colors created this effect, and we're sorry for not noticing it earlier." But then they have those random ass deep red spots that look like splatters of blood, and that goes right out the window. How the hell did this get anywhere near stores? Kent State's colors are blue and gold too.

The shirts I usually get are 25 bucks, and even that I feel is expensive Anything over 35 is a no for me. I buy shoes for 15 bucks. Jeans for 20. I literally couldn't care less what brand it is. Aslong as it does it's job and is cheap it's all good for me. I hate buying WWE shirts because they cost 25$ + shipping but sometimes you just gotta have all that Ambrose merch. [/quote] I do exactly the same. The sad thing is, some of the cheap shirts I buy look no different than shirts that some people pay £100 for. Only my shirt lacks a tiny designer logo. Granted, some of the cheap shirts I buy do look cheap (namely the band shirts) but others look no different than the brand name stuff.

At $129, I'm surprised anyone found out this existed. It just seems they should have been laughed at until they ceased carrying this and any other similar item with a price like that on it.

I'm more concerned with the fact there has to be a market for the shirts.

Even if you don't care, other people do. It's an irresponsible, douchey thing to buy and wear.

Now it's being resold on Ebay for $550 with half the money going to a charity that has nothing to do with Kent State

At this rate, next month they'll be selling out of VT "retro" shirts complete with fake bullet holes.

On one hand I'll defend this on the basis that I think anything is in bounds in terms of comedy. On the other hand, this gives me some douch chills imagining the smug look of self satisfaction on the face of the hipster at Urban Outfitters who designed this, and the even smuggier look of self satisfaction of the attention seeking Kent State student who'll end up buying it and wear it around campus going "What? What's everyone looking at me for?"

I hope those are almost out of stock because someone had the sense to throw a bunch into a fire, not because they're actually selling well.

This has to be one of the lamest and most of idiotic attempts of a clothing brand trying to be edgy only to make themselves look like total morons.
That and if someone is willing pay $129 for something that shitty looking there is no way around it they are a full blown idiot.

They implied it was a Sandy Hook type thing. I meant the guy that made the call to start firing.

I just assumed you mixed up Kent State and the Whitman clock tower shooting, since people confuse them sometimes.

Meh, this is par for the course for Urban Outfitters. Yeah, the company behind Ghettopoly and the Jewish Star tee being tasteless is hardly surprising. At this point, they're not even offensive, they're just trying too hard. The best thing we can do is just ignore them.
