Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler disprove that theory. They're 100% homegrown WWE guys, and yet they're over with the same crowd as the indy guys. Skill gets people over. Those guys are the exception though, not the rule. Typically you get a bunch of Mojo Rawleys and Titus O'Neils. I don't consider myself a huge fan of either guy, but to be fair Mojo Rawley and Titus O'Neil are great at playing characters. Are they? Mojo is a face everyone hates, and Titus and live microphone's usually results in some of the worst crap you'll ever see on a television.

Once Mojo turns heel and plays up the traits that people hate, folks will like him (Bo Dallas). And Titus is entertaining on the mic. It's a shame he doesn't get more opportunities to show off that skill.

Honestly, after seeing that interview after he got bloodied by Bull, I think it was, and how he kept saying over and over "I don't get hyped, I stay hyped!" at the end of everything he said, I saw something there. I don't know what, but I know that I got interested in Mojo for a split second for the first time ever.

I could see them being like a face version of Nexus. What's amazing is that all they need is an indie guy from the US to sign (Adam Cole perhaps?) and you can build an United Nations type stable. Maybe call them World's Finest or something. That is one thing I think really helps all of these guys. Looking at the cards on WWE Supercards made me realize that WWE's roster is VERY diverse...and I'm certain it is supposed to be that way.

They're called the NXT 5 because they're the NXT 5 to be fed to Cena and Big Show.

I just don't like the good ones seemingly being lumped in with the bad ones just because they happen to have a similar look and background. I feel like a 6'4, 250 lb clean cut good looking ex-footballer could come in tomorrow, prove himself to be a pro wrestling prodigy/savant, and yet still be written off as a "meathead" who doesn't deserve his spot because he didn't come into the business "the right way". Brock Lesnar and Dolph Ziggler disprove that theory. They're 100% homegrown WWE guys, and yet they're over with the same crowd as the indy guys. Skill gets people over. I know he isn't here, and hasn't been for a long time...but Shelton Benjamin was "IWC over" and 100% homegrown. To make it seem even worse he was hired because of someone else. Not even nepotism, he just got a job because his roommate wanted him to come with.
