I can't stand seeing myself in pictures. People tell me I look fine, but I'm obsessed with feeling overweight. Everyone tells me I look healthy, but it's me who feels bad.
Anyone else go through this problem?
Just a toe, I was never over weight. I was actually too skinny. At one point, I weighed about 145 pounds (I'm 6'1). I'm around 200 now.

Well I like everything so far especially my gorgeous hair (it looks nothing like my avatar btw) but my only problem is standing at 5'4" I'm a goddamn midget in the cities.Muscles make me look even shorter.

I always feel like I'm way too fat or that I'm gaining a ton of weight. I'm currently weigh 160 and I'm 6'1. I've lost 100 lbs since high school and it was kinda one of the worst things I've done. I say that because now I'm constantly paranoid about gaining weight due to never wanting to get that big again.
My spine is also out of line due to a fairly bad car accident I was in back in high school. I never got it fixed, so now I just feel like I'm crooked/weird looking.

I think my face doesn't look great mostly due to my nose and I'm on the heavier side but working on reducing that. I've been forcing myself to take more pictures of my self to continuing building up my self confidence which I think helps a lot.

For the most part, yes. I'm way, way happier right now at 190 then I was at 225 this time last year, but I still have about 10-15 pounds I want to lose before I become really happy.
However, if for some reason I physically couldn't lose another pound right now, yes, I would be completely happy with my physical appearance.

Anyone else go through this problem? Just a toe, I was never over weight. I was actually too skinny. At one point, I weighed about 145 pounds (I'm 6'1). I'm around 200 now. If you felt you were overweight when you were at 145 (which is at the low end of the normal BMI range), it seems like the problem might be more about your fitness than your weight. Do you lift or do other types of exercise regularly? Even though I'm a bit fatter than I'd like to be (5'2", 125lbs), the fact that I can run for hours and that I have a good hourglass shape makes me still really like my body. If you find fitness/strength-related things that make you appreciate your body, you might view it in a better light. As for the original question, sure, I'm fairly happy. I'd like my nose to be less prominent and my ribs to be smaller, I'd love to gain about 3 inches of height and have naturally glossy hair that doesn't frizz up in the humidity, but I'm attractive enough to get through life with goodlooking boyfriends and unwarranted goodwill from strangers, which is all looks are meant for anyway. I am, however, looking to drop at least 5 pounds over the fall, if not 10 (depends on how strictly I want to pay attention to my calorie intake). I get injured fairly frequently, and I never did when I was under 120 lbs. So I think the kind of mileage I'm running might be too stressful when I'm carrying a few extra pounds, and want to see if I can improve it by getting a little lighter.

I feel happy with myself, yes. I was uncomfortable during my teenage years.

May of last year I was up to 250lbs. Now I am 6'3" with a large frame. But wanted to lose weight. Now I am down to 194lbs. And trying my best to hit 180lbs by X-mas. About 2 years ago got tired of always having a shaved head. So started growing my hair out. Getting tired of it now. So gonna cut it all off in March and donate it to a local group that makes wigs for cancer patients.
So besides not liking my hair I am pretty happy with my appearance.

I was pretty much fat for my entire life until year before last when I worked extremely hard to lose 100 lbs (or more maybe, I didn't weigh a the start) I went from about 270 to 170. I actually have a six pack now, but I've put on about 10 pounds over the summer and got a little doughy. It makes me feel like I put on 50 lbs, since pants that were loose are now getting tight. So I'm working out vigorously 6 days a week and eating extremely healthy. I will say even before I put that 10 pounds on and was ripped, I still felt like that fat guy most of the time. It's a hard mentality to break when you had no self esteem for so long when it comes to your body.

Yeah I'm a good looking guy. I look good and dress good. If you put some effort in your appearance you'll be surprised how hot you can get. My eyebrows are big bushy and when I reach Martin Scorcese's age his eyebrows won't have shit on me!

Yes. I could stand to cut a few inches and get really ripped, but that's just nitpicking. I have good musculature without looking like a freak and overall I look pretty good. I recommend working out and getting regular haircuts and dressing decent as a means to feel better about yourself. If you look good, you feel good, and confidence is a state of mind. Always accentuate your strengths and downplay your weaknesses.

the only thing that really bothers me is the "solar dome" on top of my head that i've had since my early 20's. when my daughter was 3 she asked "where you hair go?" it was cute but still

I am. I like how I dress and spend a lot of time adjusting clothes/picking up nice things in sales every 6 months/mixing outfits etc. Despite wishing to be more toned -not too much more albeit, I keep in shape, I'd like better cardio and just a few percent less body fat- and to have not had several bones in my face broken/fractured over the years, I'm confident in how I look and put enough effort into it to feel good. I get complimented on stuff a fair bit so yeah, no biggie, but I chalk that up to my attitude and clothes more than my face/body. Always room to improve, but I think that's a healthy attitude to have, if you can do better without getting down on yourself then you're in a good spot. Now to find a good shaving formula to not have cut up/irritated skin one week a month... the only thing that really bothers me is the "solar dome" on top of my head that i've had since my early 20's. when my daughter was 3 she asked "where you hair go?" it was cute but still I realized that was happening to me two weeks ago, not too bad, but I decided to cut all my hair off for the sake of...seeing what it was like to be bald. It was fine too, I can see how shaving your hair once a week could be annoying though. Plus it means less horrible dripping of sweat down hair when going for a run.

I'm consistently around 245, but I am almost 6'5" and I work out a lot so I look pretty good overall.
But...
The Widow's peak I was born with seems to be getting Widow's peakier.
I'm in CM Punk-ville right now

Fuller hair would be nice, maybe, or being taller, but I like myself, at least physically.

I go back and forth. I used to be morbidly obese, as a teen, and am now just husky. I've come to terms with the fact that I'll probably always be a bigger guy. I mostly feel self conscious about a lot of the hanging skin I have from going from 360 lbs to 220, but I have a pretty cute face and the ladies love my eyes. Sometimes I look in the mirror and feel like a gross fatty, other times I feel incredibly sexy, for a big guy. I guess it depends on whether my depression is kicking in, or not.

Kinda. When I was in middle school I'd get made fun of a lot because I had gapped teeth, had big lips, and was kind of fat. But I hit a growth spurt in 8th grade, got braces, and evened out as far as weight goes. I was born with a muscle weakness in my arms when I was a kid, but through some workouts and two years of Tennis they've gotten a bit better. As of now, I'm 6'0 and 165, which is pretty decent. But even still, I feel like I could lose some weight in my torso and gain some muscle mass, especially in the arms. I'm trying to move up to varsity Tennis this year, so this winter I definitely want to work hard to get in better shape.

Eh, to one extent or another we all have something we would like to change. The important thing is to not let it totally consume you. I wouldn't mind having more muscle, a couple feet taller, and being less pale. But, as a wise sailor once stated, I yams what I yams.
