So, I hear that the WWE had Cole and Co. say that last night during the show. I thought the Network shilling was bad, but wow. Speaking as someone who can only get it through PPV providers, I find it rather insulting. But then again, it's not my fault they went with a corrupt cable company to distribute the network in Canada, and the majority of the country still can't get it. Also, I don't know how digging the knife into the PPV providers while the network is still struggling is such a wise idea, but then again this is Vince.

If you're in the UK, you watched it for free. In your face, Cole.

$55.00, ya jackass! You might as well have taken forty five of that and lit it on fire! Do you know how much Diet Dew you could buy for that? You'd be peeing green by the end of the night!

I didn't hear it either but if that was said, wow that's an ignorant thing to say. When a large portion of the country still doesn't have Internet fast enough to use WWE Network, it might not be the best thing to insult people that can't help the situation.

Eh, I don't take anything they say seriously. Things are only as offensive as you choose to see it. If anything, it's just more Network schilling and the message was that "If you can subscribe to the Network, but haven't yet, then you're missing out." Also, I doubt the announcers actually give a damn if you have it or not.

The WWE is the only company that can insult their fanbase and in some instances do the exact opposite of what fans want and still get people to give them money. It's amazing.

In fairness if you have access to the network and still bought the PPV you are an idiot.

It wasn't until last night that I realized the importance of WWE getting the network onto an actual channel. If they could somehow make that work without cable companies bumping the price for their own profit (AKA the reason it isn't one already and a damn impossible task) then they'd actually come close to the numbers they expect. There are enough areas in the US with poor Internet and regions in other countries where it's either unavailable or is made inconvenient in some way.

The only money WWE ever gets from me is the sixth of the price I split for Wrestlemania each year, so Cole is only getting a sixth of my money.
Who's laughing now eh?

They're right, you kinda are if you paid $54.95 for their current product.
BUT, there are fans who legit don't have access to high speed internet or the Network, and it was pretty damn insulting to your PAYING CUSTOMER to say that comment. If I heard that, and I was out of those customers, I would expect an on air apology before I purchase another PPV.

They didn't say you were an Idiot.
They said you paid 54 dollars, but the network is only 9.99.
The only thing I got out of it was that WWE is probably not getting rid of the Network anytime soon.

If you ordered Night of Champions on PPV, you probably have buyers remorse.

If you ordered Night of Champions on PPV, you probably have buyers remorse. That should be the name of most of their PPVs. The logo could be a schmuck with a sad face holding out the insides of his pockets showing he has no more money to blow on an event chock full of rematches.

They'll be eating crow after backhandedly slapping PPV, their once and future bread and butter, when they can't stop the hemorrhaging Network.

If you're in the UK, you watched it for free. In your face, Cole. Well, no extra charge on top of the $50 a month for Sky Sports so you can watch Raw/SmackDown/NXT etc.....
