Would've liked it if the post-time skip was a longer episode or a two-parter but I'm happy with how things ended. This show was always about getting the characters to where they needed to be for the beginning of the Batman story.
Gotta say, for a show that really felt like it didn't know what it wanted to be in Season 1, from Season 2 it found its identity and became something all its own. It embraced the campiness and played everything straight. They didn't let themselves be bound by the established mythos and changed things up a little to out their own mark on things. For me, I feel like I'll be thinking of some of these characters as the default versions from now on. It's always a good sign when a show ends and you wish there was more. I'll miss hearing Penguin's rants, Riddler's cackling, Barbara's ability to not blink and above all else I'll miss the number of times something absolutely ridiculous would happen.
Well done Gotham.

You know, give David Mazouz about 7-10 years, and I would totally be down for him as a big-screen Batman.
