I don't think TEW 13 has a difficulty setting. It lets you mess around with various settings in the game though.
One of the features that I found most interesting is that unlike in EWR or the previous TEW games to an extent where all of your stats are pretty much displayed out in the open you instead have to scout each wrestler for long enough in order to find out how good they really are. For example at scouting level one the worker will be graded using stuff like "average" or "strong" But the more you scout them the stats available become more thorough. So instead of just seeing how good they are at brawling you'll know how they are at that plus puroresu and hardcore. With technical you'll also know how skilled they are at chain wrestling, mat wrestling, and submissions.
In addition each skill set requires a different sort of scouting to get a better handle on it. For example, to understand how good somebody is at promos you have to put them in enough promo segments. To see how good somebody is at announcing or refereeing, they have to announce or referee enough for you to tell.
It kind of makes things more realistic in that you can't really see just how good someone is until you've been watching them for long enough. Though it does seem like it takes awhile to move up to the next scouting level so that's a little annoying admittedly.

So I've done something...interesting
I'm booking 1996 WCW. Same shows, same titles, same money...
With a 2014 Roster from the August 2014 folder

So here's what I've done with my game so far. Instead of making Superstars filler, I use it to showcase my main event and upper midcard guys and my feuds. So it's very unlikely I'll forget to book something between that and each brand's individual show.
Backlash went well, Edge and Jericho won the Tag Team Championship, all the other belts were retained. Kong made her debut and destroyed both Beth and Mickie, ending the match in a draw, setting up a 3-way for Judgment Day. And I've worked Rey Mysterio and Luke Harper into the Morrison/Punk feud.
For unofficial feuds, I've got Miz/MVP, Burchill/Noble, Santino/Big Show, Kaval/Shelton, Young Bucks/Regal and Kozlov, and Black/Aries. And R-Truth is the next challenger for the IC Title, so Truth/Drew can be added to that list.
All in all, this game is going very well.

Lucky. I have trouble having a segment hit an eighty-percent rating. Though that may be due to WWE being rated more on popularity then the actual wrestling.
...Maybe I should adjust that.

Well the other thing is this. I fired pretty much everyone lower than the midcard and brought in people that I want to book. So right now, the only people at lower mdicard are Ultimo Guerrero, Amazing Red, and Jimmy Jacobs, and the Young Bucks are openers, but that should change pretty soon. And even when Black and Aries were in the lower midcard, they got an 85% rating for their match. But the way I've got it set up, it's virtually impossible for a segment to hit lower than 60%. The one exception possibly being Diva matches with Kelly in them. And even then, I think all my other Divas are good enough to carry her to a decent rating.

Oh, and Jericho/Edge vs. DX is ready to be wrapped at Judgment Day. So now I need to plan the course of the tag titles. Sophie says I should put the belts on The Hart Dynasty, but when I booked a non-title match on Smackdown, Jericho and Edge refused to lose to them. So I'm not quite sure what to do. I'm trying to give them wins every week to push them up the card, so hopefully I can get them to where the Champs will be willing to drop the belts to them before Extreme Rules. Edge and Jericho want to face each other, so I'll probably use miscommunication to jump start that feud.

Well, I still feature my feuds on Raw, Smackdown, and ECW, since I have the brand split. But it does allow me freedom in case someone wants a specific match, I can book it without having to worry too much.

So my plan for ECW is this: Danielson won the title the week after Backlash, and he and Aries have aligned as a heel team. Aries is in an unofficial feud with Tyler Black. So at Judgment Day, Danielson is going to retain over Christian, hopefully the feud ender, then Black will feud with Danielson. If I can find a face to pair with him, I might make it a tag feud and include Aries too. I'm actually eyeing Petey Williams for that...

Try to get the young bucks over as single competitors and see if that will do anything not sure if it will help though

Try to get the young bucks over as single competitors and see if that will do anything not sure if it will help though I think the problem is they're the lowest guys on the totem pole right now. I'm trying to give them as much airtime as I can to get them more over. Also, Hornswoggle needs someone to manage. He's pretty much the only guy I have nothing for.
