Cueto should've docked Patron for the week for breaking his window.
Hope Muertes comes back with a new look, baby-blue pinstripes doesn't exactly scream monster-heel.
Evans was the highlight of the night.
El Rey better re-up this show. LU is a great fit and it can be a cornerstone to build-on like RAW was for USA. It's not going to stick-around as just the "old flicks Robert Rodriquez likes" channel.

I can't see Lucha Underground being too expensive to produce. Pro wrestling used to be considered fairly cheap to produce, and compared to WWE, and even TNA, LU fits that mold. They could probably cut some costs here and there - like losing the mariachi band who they have to hand over a few C-notes for 20 seconds of music every week. Also, some reports say they're scouting other locations that might be cheaper. I've heard maybe Texas, or somewhere else in the Southwest. They could work in a storyline by intimating that the cops are looking at Cueto, and he packed up and relocated ahead of a possible raid on the Temple. Big, perceivably dimwitted, monster kept in a cage by his sleazy, manipulative, cowardly brother and treated like an animal. He'll turn face eventually. A maybe-spoiler regarding two of the Disciples' identities: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}One is Ricky Mandel, and another is El Mariachi Loco, in case you end up wondering what happened to those guys, unless they pull double duty. With Mundo and Hernandez turning and Evans debuting, we're starting to re-stock the heel side. Definitely needed. And could Big Ryck be turning back already? Did he ever "really" turn face? Sure, he took it easy on Maria Susanna, and steamrolled the crew, but I think that'd make him a tweener at best.

His Trios team seemed to be clear faces, but it looks like they're setting up a turn on, and feud with, Mack.

Man, it's gonna be the tragedy of the year if the show doesn't get renewed. It's about the only thing keeping me interested in wrestling, much less reigniting my love of lucha libre.
I really love where things are going. I thought the seven Medallions might be a little cheesy in the midst of all the wacky shit going on (BTW are we all in agreement that it's supposed to be LU's Infinity stones), but it'll work. It's the one thing that LU does that WWE just can't: find something to do for all of it's wrestlers on the roster. They add guys, they subtract guys, and it may take a few weeks, but guys don't get the whole "we have nothing for you right now" song and dance on TV.
Also, love the Mundo heel turn. Honestly did not see that coming. Now might be the time when he breaks out of his bland babyface status and we can see the John Morrison of old come back in full force.

Whoops, wrong show.

He doesn't look or act like your typical wrestler, which I think makes him stand out.

For tomorrow's show:
* Prince Puma vs Marty "The Moth" Martinez * Texano Jr. vs DelAvar Daivari * Vampiro's sitdown interview with Johnny Mundo * Ladder Match for The Trios Championship: The Crew vs Son of Havoc, Angelico, and Ivelisse.

It's weird that they still insist on sitdown interviews. Lucha Underground has such a tight-grasp on the invisible camera style of presentation you'd think if they want go give some insight into a wrestler they'd just have them act the story out in a backstage segment. Hell or even a montage with a voice-over.

His spirit animal. I'm just praying he doesn't come to the ring with a pair of Moth wings strapped to his back.

It’s time for a Lucha Underground Rewind! On our last episode Aero Star spoiled the debut of Jack Evans, with a Canadian Destroyer that would ruin anyone’s day! And Fenix may have come one step closer to immortality when he overcame six other men including the furious Pentagon Jr. to win the first of Seven Aztec Medallions, but considering Catrina has brought back Mil Muertes, Immortality may not be enough for stop him.
And finally in our Main Event, Alberto El Patron faced Hernandez for the right to become No.1 contender, but in a move written and perfect for a Hollywood Blockbuster, Johnny Mundo appeared, going from Hero to Villain and launched Patron headfirst and glassfirst into Dario’s office, leaving him easy pickings for The Brute who pinned and earned the title shot against Prince Puma.
But first, we have ourselves a Ladder match for The Trios Championship! The Crew face The Champs; Angelico, Son of Havoc, and Ivelisse who due to her still broken leg had placed her team at a disadvantage.
Who will climb the ladder of success and be the one looking down at the opposition with the Trios gold in hand? Let’s not waste any more time to find out!

Jesus H Christ, Angelico is going to be in a wheelchair by the time he's 40.
Glad to see Mil Muertes returning, he's by and far my favorite. Everything looks crisp and snug, like a Luchador Sheamus. It's like The Undertaker with a hot Latina instead of Paul Bearer.

Man what a show. Came off Takeover into this and it didn't let me down. Well, Chavo actually did but I'll give him a chance. The Dario stuff with Catrina was excellent, so creepy and out there. The 6 person was insane and I loved Vampiro interviewing Mundo. Selfie fakeout was a nice touch too.
