It was weird, a lot of the songs on 'Dangerous' all had the same drum sound. It was like there were 5 different versions of the same song.

Right after performing at a MJ tribute concert too, I just learned. Wow.

This will sound like blasphemy, but I think early 90s Michael Jackson is best Michael Jackson.

This will sound like blasphemy, but I think early 90s Michael Jackson is best Michael Jackson. MJ's peak was around 1992, right at the end of the B.C- "Before Chandler" period- prior to the day his car broke down and he met the family that essentially help start his personal downturn.

This will sound like blasphemy, but I think early 90s Michael Jackson is best Michael Jackson. I've read the same thing on Youtube. I think to a certain degree that opinion is correct. It's not to say Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad weren't good, however, Dangerous and History showed a different side of MJ that many people didn't know he had. I think when he wrote songs that were deep, personal, and called attention to the realities of life and pain he experienced it was truly a work of art.

Here's an amazing metal version of "Jam" with Michael's vocals. He definitely would've made an amazing metal singer.

What's amusing regarding that video is when I saw Michael Jackson live during his World Dangerous Tour in Cologne, Germany. Kriss Kross opened for him and I look back and laugh with fondness that "Jump" was/is a huge part of my childhood.
Seeing Michael literally destroy the stage while performing "Jam" live was/is always a treat.
