Has one of my favorite trailers too. You get a ton of crazy images, there's a sense of uneasiness, and, when it's over, you have no idea what the f*** you have just seen. Perfect.

I still can't believe that it came out in 1979. The movie is quite ahead of its time. I need to give it another watch some time this weekend. Oh yeah, towards the end when Ripley is getting everything ready to evacuate the ship, the way it was shot honestly made me feel that if you didn't know it came out in 1979 this film could easily have came out last year and you wouldn't have known the difference. Although Sigourney Weaver's haircut in this movie could probably narrow the dates down regardless. 70s and 80s fashion aren't exactly celebrated for their hairstyles haha.

It still terrifies me to this day. A true masterpiece.
The novelisation by Alan Dean Foster is excellent, too.

Aw man I am so buying that. The only thing that could top that is a Groot bottle opener.

Can we get one that also pulls open corks? Y'know, press a button on the back, out comes the smaller, thinner mouth/set of jaws?

Easily my favourite film. I could write paragraphs about it, and that's without even touching on the symbolism, the atmosphere, the set design, HR Giger's designs, etc, etc.
