Childhood shows I use to love Games master - That show was awesome, especially as Patrick Moore played The Games Master Crystal Maze - Use to watch this religiously, Always wanted to be in it, The Richard 'O Brian era was the best, didn't care much for the other guy. Robot Wars - Seems silly now but I use to record every single episode, me and a friend tried to build a robot (Which was basically a remote control car with a box over it ¬.¬), Jeremy Clarkson hosted the 1st series but Craig Charles took over after that. Loved Gamesmaster and Crystal Maze. Robot Wars I watched sometimes, Jonathan Pearce was the perfect commentator for that, I will forever associate him with Euro 96 (Me and my dad used to listen to his Radio commentary rather than the TV's during the tournament) Speaking of football as a kid I loved Fantasy Football League even if it was a bit naff sometimes. And all the usual British comedy standards that I have to thank my dad for getting me into like Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Fast Show & Father Ted.

Not sure how many other people saw it, but MTV's "Strutter" was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I use the phrase "right in the f***ing dinner dumper" on an almost daily basis

Not sure how many other people saw it, but MTV's "Strutter" was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. I remember the character, he was to Dennis Pennis, what Borat was to Ali G. Pennis/Strutter were first though. There's rumblings this late-90's gem will be seeing a DVD release: "One in Five, Stew! Not One in Two, like you and Skeletor think!" I love Stewart Lee & Richard Herring. That they got away this some of the material on This Morning With Richard Not Judy (or TMWRNJ for short) is staggering.

Last I heard Lee and Herring were buying the rights themselves from the BBC so they can release it. Same thing they did with Fist of Fun. Also, they're doing a mini TMWRNJ reunion on Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (RHLSTP!) next month and they're now releasing the video versions for free.

Those Goslings jumping off the cliff and bouncing off the rocks all the way down, they're hardcore! And the best quiz show is Only Connect.Love Only Connect as well, it's refreshing to actually have a gameshow on television which isn't wrapped up in over dramatisation and cheesy gimmicks, one which actually celebrates highbrow intelligence, and having the goddess that is Victoria Coren goes a long way to helping as well. Did you watch her hosting HIGNFY tonight? She was pretty good and looked beautiful. My wife likes to tease me about my love for Victoria Coren and even says she's an attractive woman.
