This thread is born from a conversation I had with a friend the other day. Disclaimer: I don't think for a second this will happen, nor do I claim to be a master fantasy booker! The latest Wyatt family vignette showed Bray in his rocking chair whilst fog filled the room. That fog instantly reminded me of Undertaker which got us to talking about "its coming" could actually be about the rebirth of the Undertaker. In his own words, Rowan and Harper have been set free because Bray has fixed them. "What do you give a man who has lost everything?" The Undertaker has lost everything and we know Taker lives in one of those weird cabin things in the woods as well! My question/point of discussion is would you be interested in them going this way and how would you do it? I'd have Bray debut "his" Undertaker at the Survivor Series, at some point defeating Brock at the Rumble (for the title if he still has it, the feud wouldn't really need it though) before the inevitable turn and a Wyatt vs Undertaker match at Wrestlemania. One more Wrestlemania victim for the Deadman before retirement and he can leave vindicated and head held high. Wyatt controlling the Undertaker, even for a brief period, would lead to some interesting television in my opinion and I think the feud would elevate him even in defeat. You could even bring in the Ascension with Wyatt saying he's created his own Ministry for the Undertaker to give him back the power he once had in the WWE, they would also come in handy to stack the odds against Taker going into the Mania match. Once again, I want to point out I don't think for a second any of this will happen(!) I just wanted to create a, hopefully, interesting conversation. Apologies if this doesn't read too well, it's late and I'm typing on my phone which is certainly not ideal!

Hmmmm not a bad idea exceot Taker would have to be able to work and I think he's basically done.

Eh, even if Taker was younger and had a better chance that he was going to come back for an actual storyline I'd rather keep him and Bray Wyatt on opposing sides at the very least. You could probably make it a draw if you teased something for quite a while before they actually got into a short program and had a match simply based off the fact that both of their characters are "dark" - see how ravenous some people have been for quite a while for Taker/Sting. That said, Taker's not coming back for any extended angles anymore. They might put some work into Taker/Sting if they go through with it, but that's about the only thing I can see him doing any lengthy stories for.

Sounds awesome, but I doubt it would fly today. Maybe back in the late 90's when full on supernatural Taker with lightning, speaking tongues, and rising from the grave was regular. Otherwise, sounds like something I'd book for an efed and that's not a bad thing (to me anyway).
Perhaps another way to go would be Kane. The Wyatts kidnapped him last year and nothing came of it. He came back and shortly after joined the Authority. He's stale now, so maybe he joins Bray. Either he turns on the Authority, or the Wyatts are in cahoots with them. At that time he was taken, the Wyatts were. One of the Authorities goto heels to get stuff done. If they had the Wyatts take him, brainwash him, and thats why his came back and gave himself up to Steph, Bray can now "Set Kane free", turning him into an '03 style monster again. I'd love to see a return to the full face mask myself, but maskless, bald See No Evil like Kane would be great.

Having Kane be with the Wyatts would be a good excuse to incorporate the clear facemask that he wears in See No Evil 2.

All I know is I am fairly certain something is going to happen with the Wyatts during the Cena/Orton match. The placement of the promos has been all around the Cena and Orton segments. Last we saw Wyatt, Cena was destroying him. Orton and Cena has been so done to death that it feels like something more is going to happen here. The new Wyatts, whoever they may be (please no Ascension), destroying both Orton and Cena in a cell would be a good step back in the right direction.

Really digging the idea. However I do agree with having them on opposing sides from the starts.
I would actually like to have these promos and vignettes leading to Bray calling out the Undertaker.
Saying that after all of these years being the conscience of the WWE and the man everyone feared, he is no longer that force. He is nothing to be feared at this point.
This will then prompt Taker vignettes and back and forth mind games between the two, but unlike other Taker returns (Henry, Kane, Orton etc.), Bray embraces it. He doesn't fear it.
A casket shows up, a wreath, druids, lights go out, gongs go off. This can all happen during Bray segments or matches but it only makes Bray want the fight more. None of these mind games work on Bray and it all culminates with a face to face with Bray and Taker at the Rumble.
Maybe even have it lead to Sting being the man who sends the message to Bray that Taker is coming for him. Bray is having a ceremony or something nutty at the Rumble and Sting either comes from the rafters or the lights go out and when they are back on it's Sting saying he has a message from an old friend. Then show a video or something with Taker saying he's coming for Bray.
You get a nice Sting debut at the Rumble, Taker can continue to heal and train while still being "present", and Bray gets over looking like a man who fears nothing.

The druids changing allegiance to Bray would be pretty cool.
Mostly because I don't want them to leave with The Undertaker as I love those guys. If The Ascension rumours are true they could even debut as leaders of the new druid order.

And while I do like the Ascension, I don't want them as new Wyatts either. They just don't fit the feel of creepy, backwater, psuedo-christian, swamp cult. Wyatts should look like someone you'd see staring at you from a porch while taking a backroad in the south (or just down the street for me... ), not patrons at a late 90s industrial-techno vampire club in LA. (After typing that I suddenly saw Viktor and Konnor by a bar, their stoic faces on, tandem headbobbing to KMFDM. It wont go away)

Not the worst idea ever, but aside from facing Sting, I have no interest in seeing Taker do anything really. He should have retired a few years ago.
Oh, and just because it came up, I like KMFDM too. Adios is one of my all time favorite albums period.

Bray should campaign to get Skylar Moon and Ariel re-signed and have them do sexy dancing next to him while Pity for the Pious plays as his new theme and just have him as some Cult Pimp.

The only problem is how hard I'm going to roll my eyes when I see the thread title "Undertaker vs. UnderBRAYker."

I'm now imagining the Druids showing up with Taker, then one "DEH!" cut later, they're all wearing sheep masks.

In all honesty, I think I like the idea of Kane being the one who calls up The Ascension as his protégés better than the idea of them joining Bray Wyatt.

In all honesty, I think I like the idea of Kane being the one who calls up The Ascension as his protégés better than the idea of them joining Bray Wyatt. Would this make the Ascension duo affiliated with the Authority then? Sort of. They would be Kane's students-but he frequently dispatches them to do The Authority's dirty work. Think Armando Estrada offering up Umaga's services to Mr McMahon. Edit: alternatively, since Orton seems to be turning face you could do a sort of Authority 2.0; Trips and Steph dump Kane and them go with Seth calling up Balor and Itami as his new backup, and then Kane pairs up with The Ascension.
