or they were the ones doing the testing on the other babies.... I think Bunsen & Beaker were working in conjunction with Statler & Waldorf to run experiments on them, these experiments included constant negative reinforcement from the old men & continue into the Muppet's adult years as evidenced by their heckling on The Muppet Show But where do the reverse vampires fit in?

Beaker wasn't the dude's name, it was his function. Much like the Outer Limits episode, "The Demon with the Glass Hand), he contained the DNA of the entire Muppets inside of him just in case him and Dr. Honeydew found another planet suitable for their Muppet race.

the government found these creatures and didn't know if they were dangerous or not.they were being held in a facility and being subjected to tests. Nanny was actually spelled Nani and was an acronym for Neo Automated Nurturing Invention. that's why you never saw her face and why they used June Cleaver's voice. Why did I read this in the A-Team opening voiceover voice?

Anyone find it odd that Marvel Productions made this cartoon? I wonder if that means Disney owns the rights to it, since they also own the muppet rights.

They also own Star Wars, so that's a good many clips I'm sure that could bring things closer to a possible DVD release (but I'm not holding my breath on that one).

The whole thing is actually dream-within-a-dream metafiction. While the babies imagine themselves in fantasy situations, the truth is, everything we see is part of the fantasy. It never ends. These are actually death row prisoners who, to divert thinking about the inevitable, have lost themselves in an existential imaginary world where they're back near the beginnings of their lives, free and boundless, instead of at the end of it, caged in cells. Nanny is the guard/warden and they act out their versions of famous fantasy stories that they no longer have access to read/watch.

And Scooter, who always felt as if no one was like him, created in his mind a twin sister, Skeeter, who would go through childhood with him. It made him feel like he had a close kinship with someone, which is something he never felt in real life. What's more, he projected for her the qualities he had always wanted for himself. He created her to be a bit of a tomboy, reflecting his psychological yearning to be more masculine.

So it was a combination of Schrodinger's Cat meets the Milgram Experiment meets Kefka's The Trial meets 1984

They all worked for Vince McMahon, because they made enough to hire a nanny.
Guess she's the only nanny in Stamford.
