I'm sick of hearing this bullshit phrase to cover the fact that matches are being repeated ad nauseum. It makes me cringe.
Fact.

For a rivalry to be renewed, it would have to end at some point.

I find it funny how they claimed the Cena/Orton rivalry would end at the Rumble, hell at TLC and yet here we are with another "oh no it's happening again uh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh" type of situations.
Get that shit outta here.

I just hate the overuse of the term rivalry. Steamboat and Flair had a rivalry. What most guys have is feuds, and its a much fitting term for them.

Remember that time that the go home show for the Royal Rumble featured Cena chasing Orton out of the building and possibly carjacking a minivan, which led to Cena celebrating with fans? I'm not going to let you forget that shit, WWE.

I'm not going to let you forget that shit, WWE. Cena's from the mean streets of West Newbury. He can't help it if thuggery is part of his nature.

Yeah. More often than not its a renewed rivalry between the audience and consciousness when they paint it that way.

WWE push their preferred narrative regardless of what they actually present to the viewer
This is the company after all who are still insisting that Cena had Lesnar beat if it wasn't for Rollins.

Remember the time they embraced after The Nexus ran John Cena off of WWE television...for an hour or two?

"Have had quite the rivalry as of late."
Or a bunch of back and forth matches no-one gives two f***s about. Usually covers most of the mid-card feuds.

If a rivalry begins and no one cares, are they really rivals?

They said the rivalry would end in the Iron Man match at Bragging Rights.
That was five years ago this month.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK, WWE!
