I loved the album myself-it was fun

It was harmless fun, I still listen to it on occasion. The announcing between tracks was a nice touch.
Anybody remember when they did the write-in campaign for the two Slammy awards that year? I believe this was the beginning of Roddy Piper's eventual face turn by winning Best Performance In "Land Of 1,000 Dances?!?"

The writer didn't seem to know that the Hulk Hogan theme was used for the cartoon show and not as an entrance theme.

"Don't Go Messing With A Country Boy" is an awesome song. Sure, it's stupid, but who cares? Anyone expecting 60's era Bob Dylan level multi-layered and socially conscious lyrics on this f***ed up already.

The writer didn't seem to know that the Hulk Hogan theme was used for the cartoon show and not as an entrance theme. Actually, that song is "Ravishing" By Bonnie Tyler It was originally an instrumental and was released first on The Wrestling Album. The songwriter then turned it into a song for Bonnie Tyler. The Wrestling Album came out first. The instrumental was already being used on the cartoon before Tyler's song. But my point was that the song was the primary theme for Hulk Hogan's Rock n' Wrestling cartoon and the writer didn't seem to know this.

Does anybody else here listen to wrestlers theme songs walking down the road, semi pretending they are the wrestler? If nobody else of importance owns up, neither do I...

The guy doesn't even mention that Hulk Hogan's theme is a cover of Bonnie Tyler's Ravishing. Disappointed.

Every year when I do the Susan G Komen Walk, I walk in the middle of the street in Downtown Phoenix, pretending I'm Hulk Hogan at the start of his cartoon as Real American plays on my iPod

The guy doesn't even mention that Hulk Hogan's theme is a cover of Bonnie Tyler's Ravishing. Disappointed. It really isn't. Hulk Hogan's theme (used primarily as the theme for the cartoon) was recorded and released before the Bonnie Tyler song. The composer of the theme decided to turn it into a track for Bonnie Tyler after already making it for WWF.

According to WWF Magazine the song "Grab Them Cakes" was inspired by this story by Junkyard Dog :
"My Grandmama would sometimes make cupcakes at family gatherings. When they were done she would yell to me and the other kids "Grab Them Cakes!"
It has NOTHING to do with grabbing booty!

Yes and if I'm indoors walking somewhere, I like to walk through doors at an appropriate time in the song for entering through the curtain. I'll even wait for the appropriate moment if I have to. I'm truly ashamed.
