What are some well-known restaurants (not local ones, but chains) that you've never eaten in? For me it's:
Chick Fi-la
White Castle
Jack in the Box
Papa John's
Also, while i've had carryout from there, i've never had a meal at Little Casear's (mainly because those are the only type of Little Caesar's i've ever lived near, never lived near a LC that's dine-in)

Never been in a White Castle although I've eaten countless sliders. I've always been much too terrified to go inside because of the hours I tend to go there.

Firehouse Subs
Any West Coast-based chain that isn't In-N-Out, Carls Jr, or Jack N The Box. I ate in all three when I vacationed in Anaheim, but nothing else.

SmashBurger
Baja Fresh
Longhorn Steakhouse
Bonefish Grill
Jimmy John's
That's all the ones I can think of.

Being on the east coast, haven't been to In N' Out or Carl's Jr. Hardee's is pretty much the same thing as Carl's Jr., if you ever venture to the southeast. |

Chang's Zaxby's (I see ads for it where I live all the time but I don't know where one is) On Zaxby's...there are like....3 by my house. AVOID THEM. It's not that good. it's Mediocre chicken at REAL restaurant prices. We're talking $7 salads with greasy chicken strips. |

Chick-Fil-A don't have any Oregon locations that I'm aware of. Never eaten there.
There's a Panera Bread not too far from campus but I haven't eaten there yet.
As for Carl's Jr as people have mentioned, they're owned by the same company that owns Hardee's. If you've eaten at Hardee's, you may as well say you've been to Carl's Jr as much as they've been homogenized.

Taco Del Mar - There's supposedly one in Schenectady, gotta try it the next time I'm in Albany.

Jimmy John's - Supposed to open up one in Staten Island soon which I will have to try.
Carl's Jr. - Have been to Hardee's though.
Panda Express - There's at least one near me, but there's like six real Chinese restaurants within walking distance of my Brooklyn apartment so I never saw the point in going to this place.
Tim Horton's - Gotta try it next National Donut Day.
Ben & Jerry's - Gotten their ice cream from the supermarket, but never been to one of their actual shops.
