Marvel Entertainment to Make Announcement Today

Marvel Studios has a surprise planned, but no one knows what it is. On Friday, Marvel Studios invited the press to attend a special event on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, California.

It also appears that Marvel is either opening the press event up to fans or holding a similar event for fans. Marvel teased on Twitter, “In or around L.A.? Head to our Facebook page for a special event announcement.” So far, it doesn’t appear as if Marvel has posted the details of the fan event yet on Facebook.

What is the special event? Well, since Marvel Studios is specifically mentioned on the press event, it rules out it being some type of comic book announcement. To set expectations, the special event could really range from being something relatively minor to being something huge. Disney has not revealed the details behind the special event, so the below is pure speculation.

That's just a bit of the article, but according to twitter the announcement will take place at 2 PM Eastern time.

I've seen a lot of different rumors today. Some are just announcing the names for Thor 3 and Captain America 3, some speculate that it's announcing Black Panther and Ms Marvel getting their own films, some speculate it's news that Marvel has bought the rights to Spidey back

I love the speculation some have. Others besides what I mentioned are Moon Knight, Cap 3 being the Civil War storyline, announcing whose playing Luke Cage, The Inhumans, and a new one I came across is Marvel and Fox coming to an agreement to allow Hugh Jackman to play Wolverine in the MCU

Well obviously, every Cereal based on a game based on a movie based on a show based on movies based on comic books need a flamethrower

I'd take that, anything to see Spider-Man in at least one Avengers movie would be good for me.
