Tonight might be Philly's best chance to get their first win what with how bad the Knicks are as well.

Well, that didn't work for the 76ers. That means their next best chance for a win is Dec 3rd against the Timberwolves.

Taj Gibson (ankle) was sent home to Chicago to be evaluated by team doctors, and he will not play Monday vs. the Jazz or Tuesday vs. the Nuggets.

Cavs don't look like they like each other Are people forgetting the Heat team that started horribly and eventually went to the Finals? No. The thing is The Heat got way more flack at the time. Less we forget every year they made it to the finals there was constant accusations of the fix being in.

I think with the Cavaliers, most people are siding with LeBron James because of his choice to return home and make amends for all the wrongs that came in the summer of 2010 and beyond. Because of that, people are less inclined to celebrate his team's mediocre start, his gag at the conclusion of the Spurs game last week, or his propensity to throw his teammates under the bus.
Plus, I also think most people realize that the ship will right itself and because the Eastern Conference is largely so awful, Cleveland will be there when it matters next spring. Whether or not they hoist the trophy is an entirely different question, but I think despite the sluggish start, we all recognize that Cleveland will at the very least be in the Conference Finals.

Less we forget every year they made it to the finals there was constant accusations of the fix being in. And in all honesty, fans(including myself) that thought the fix was in had every right to think that. Because a lot of games Miami won during the playoffs seemed very suspicious.

It's time the NBA does something about competitive balance. The East has been godawful for too long and good teams on the West are getting f***ed out of playoff spots.
Here's a proposal. The top 4 teams in both conferences make the playoffs and get homecourt advantage in the first round. They are ranked with seeds one through 8. Then the next 8 best teams in the league regardless of conference round out the remaining playoffs spots with the 16th seed playing the 1st seed NCAA style.
Anyone think this could work? Also in this format the opening round would go back to a 2-2-1 five game series.

According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the Rockets are considering signing 16-year veteran Al Harrington, who was recently cut in China in order to allow him to pursue an NBA return.

The Kings pick up a huge win in New Orleans without Darren Collison and Rudy Gay! DeMarcus Cousins was great and Omron Casspi had a huge game! Meet the new Road Warriors of the NBA

I'd like to point out how batshit crazy it is that the Hawks gave the Raptors Lou Williams just for the right to waive John Salmons.
