The DS Lite is smaller & a bit brighter, so if you're going to carry it around a lot in your pockets then that might be a better deal. And if you want one on the cheap check to find one used. Should be less than $100 that way. The price for a new one will probably drop in a few months after the Lite is on the market for a bit. So the Lite is actually harder to see the screen? That's sorta sucky No, it is EASIER to see the Lite's screen, but other than button placement, screen brightness, and size, they are identical. I have had my Electric Blue DS since Decemember, and I LOVE it. It feels nice and solid(like all Nintendo products), the PSP, however, feels like I can easily break it....case in point, the GameStop I always go to had to replace their PSP kiosk atleast 9 times, because the PSP keeps breaking! They finally said screw it, and now their PSP kiosk has a PSP with a missing analog nub.......

With the release of liberty city stories on the PS2 there isn't a single good game on the PSP that you can't get for other platforms. The DS, on the other hand, has a lot of good games and some great ones.
And the DS Lite is great, looks much nicer, a bit smaller, and the screen is very noticably brighter. I'm going to get one as soon as I have the cash. New Super Mario Bros, Metroid, and a new Zelda game coming out for it in a while.... that's some good stuff.

Does the original GTAs coming out on Xbox and PC indicate that PS2 is a bomb? Not at all. The difference is, Liberty City Stories was supposed to move PSP's the way GTA 3 had moved PS2's. That obviously hasnt happened.
