Maybe i watch the wrong shows, but it seems all the ads for the network are all on wwe tv shows. Why not advertise it outside the network like on a sports broadcast or during some other show aimed at the WWE's main demographic?

When it first launched I saw ads for it on Comedy Central and Adult Swim for a month or so.

Because people watching Raw and/or Smackdown are the only people who would even considering buying it.

They've done quite a bit of internet advertising, the targeted kind. I went to a football website yesterday that I frequent and there was a banner ad at the top (which was surely one of those that targeted me because I'm on wrestling sites and would have been a different ad in that space for someone else). But I've noticed those quite a bit lately.

I've seen ads on some of the channels owned by NBC/Universal.

The only people who are going to buy WWE Network are wrestling fans and wrestling fans who watch Raw and SmackDown already know about WWE Network. I mean, what are they expecting? Non-wrestling fans to spend money on a Network that's all about wrestling?

I have yet to see any ads outside of the usual stuff that airs during PPVs, which they did well before the WWE Network. I have watched on demand Raw and Nitros and the Cruiserweight Monday Night War episode. Still no ads.

As in a commercial for the network during a football game or something like that.

That would force Vince to acknowledge that there are people who don't watch WWE programming. That kind of thing doesn't get into his bubble.
