I remember for me, it was in 1994 when I was 16. I was riding in the car listening to the radio, and the announcers were talking about Kurt Cobain's supposed autopsy photo's being all over the internet. That was the first time I had ever heard of it. How about the rest of you?

I don't know. Sometime during the mid 90s when My Dad got a new computer and got the internet. But he would not let me or my brother and sisters anywhere near it for the first two years. It was a couple of months later my friend told its a great place to get nudey pics of Sandra Bullock.

Early 90s.
There were tons of TV programs talking about the Internet, then one day a local ISP went to promote their product to the beach, and I SO had to subscribe...

The internet was around before it became available to the unwashed masses so it's not really a question many of us can answer. There wasn't a day any of us woke up and said "wow, the internet exists, I'll remember this day for the rest of my life".

Probally around 1995. I had just gotten my dog (who passed away in 2005) then.

1995 was the year for me. Can't remember how I heard of it, though. I ended up using the internet for the first time in early 1996.

Mid 95 or so...when WWF would advertise their WWF homepage on AOL.
I didn't get the Internet until 1998, but every time I would go to my cousin's house he had AOL and would let me use it. I played WWF Trivia for hours.

I first used the internet in 5th grade when I was in a special advanced class... We used it to look up updated stock prices for a project... It was 1995... I remember wanting to invest in the WWF...
