Got this primarily for the Kane figure: Shortly followed by this set: Until I built up my collection from car boot sales and the like, this little roster wrestled assorted Star Wars and generic figures that I had in similar scales.

It took some a few minutes of Googling to find this, but these were my very first wrestling figures. I would eventually get like 10 better Austin and Rock figures that were actually articulate enough to do their finishers. I never ended up getting another Vince or Shane. I remember doing a storyline where Vince had to go bald, so we actually cut his hair (by which I mean scraped the paint off.)

When I started liking Austin, I took a Ric Flair figure, coloured his trunks in black and used a cheese grater to get his hair off. The shame.

Yeah, Vince wasn't my only figure that I'd "shaved," unfortunately. I did it to Angle to match his look on TV as well. I also managed to lose the hair piece that came with one of my Big Shows because it had worn off after extensive use. In hind sight, its kind of funny that today's Big Show is bald. Gotta love that unintentional accuracy.

He had long hair at the time, so the figure had one of those rubber hair pieces attached to it.

I snipped off LJN Brutus Beefcake's thumb and nose with a pair of scissors... no particular reason.

I think the first one I bought for myself was the Cena "Bad Bad Man" figure, a few weeks after I met him.

Did anyone else color their figures' faces with a red Crayola marker to make someone look busted open? Almost all of mine had redish faces for that reason.
I also used to uncurl a wire coat hanger and stick it into hole where the flag was supposed to go on the Hasbro ring. That way I could have ladder matches!! (My ladder of course being made from popsicle sticks that I glued together)
Kids today with their fancy accessories.

I believe it was a WCW Hogan figure, followed shortly by Vader, Flair, and Sting, then Johnny B Badd, Kevin Sullivan, Harlem Heat, The Nasty Boys, and Jimmy Hart, along with a ring, for Christmas. I actually got in some trouble for buying Sting, because apparently by uncle had already bought the figures for Christmas and had to return one. The following year was pretty much the same deal, but with the WWF Jakks figures that had just come out. I'd been allowed to buy two, so I picked Shawn Michaels and Goldust. Then for Christmas, I got Razor, Diesel, Undertaker, and Owen, plus a four pack that had another Shawn and Goldust, as well as Warrior and Bret. Plus I used the WCW Vader and Badd figures to assemble a humble little fed. And then three days later, I got the WWF monster ring for my Birthday, which was AWESOME. Had that for a year and a half before my sister stepped on it and broke it.

Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips from the Remco Rocky 3 line. Followed by LJN Hogan and Terry Funk.
Most recent? Mattel Brock Lesnar TRU exclusive.

Either LJN Hogan or a two pack of thumb wrestlers in the likeness of Hogan and Big John Studd. They had a hole in their ass for your thumb, not sure that would fly today.
I probably had an A-Team Mr. T figure before any of that though if he counts.

I built my first wrestling ring for my Hasbros out of Construx. I had the opportunity to get an official Hasbro ring, but they were so tiny compared to my Construx ring that I just kept my awesome Construx ring until eventually my dad made me a big one with wood and boot laces for ring ropes. The official rings never did appeal to me.

anyone else have all their figures be one really weird wrestling federation? I remember my old red/silver/blue optimus prime being my champion for the longest time defending against my skeletor that had a roller in his chest to show "damage" and a gi joe-sized terminator t800

I snipped off LJN Brutus Beefcake's thumb and nose with a pair of scissors... no particular reason. I did that to my LJN Bruno's schnoz by accident. He had a flaw, some extra rubber on it, and I tried to clip it off but got the tip in the process.

Not sure why. My mom got it for me. She saw them at the store, knew I liked wrestling and probably just picked one. But I was a big Demolition fan so it was all good. Then I got to go back the next day and get another one that I picked out myself and I got.... I'm assuming that I got this because I wanted the scissors. So TheCrusher Wrestling Federation was an endless Smash vs. "Brutus 'the Barber" Beefcake rivalry. Main Event anywhere in the country. Kind of funny because Smash and Beefcake were my #3 and #4 Hasbro figures. My first two were Hogan and Savage, so I had a lot of Hogan/Beefcake vs. Savage/Smash matches, also main events anywhere in the country. Smash was my second guy, my first was Ultimate Warrior. Well I should say Smash was 2/3 because I got both he and Ax at the same time. I should still have all of series 1 somewhere.

I got a Hasbro Jake Roberts as an early Christmas present from a relative who didn't even know that I wasn't into wrestling. I checked WWF out to see what it was all about, and was so taken by it that I ended up getting the rest of the first series and the ring for Christmas and my birthday.

I think I used all the rock 'n' roll ones, plus the surfer Mike, and the original Raph and Leo figures. I'm sure there were others. I also had that Willy kid from the Bucky O'Haire line. Wolverine was my Champion for a full cycle of shows, then Robin had it for a bit, then the white costumed Batman was Champion for a long time. I had a bunch of weird teams, like Longshot and the black costumed Batman, the white costumed Batman and Bruce Wayne(don't question it...), Boot Camp Leo and Bowser, Raph and Leo, Surfer Mike and Rocker Mike, and I'm sure a bunch I'm forgetting.
