Anyone got any tips on getting a single elimination in cruel smash besides "get good scrub"? The Lucina Up-B method. Takes a while, and you may have to get on the platform to KO them with a charged attack, but it works.

I just spammed Counter over and over again.
Since there's like eight people in the game with Counter Attacks, I've actually gotten like 20 combined KOs that way.

Anyone got any tips on getting a single elimination in cruel smash besides "get good scrub"? I went cheap and did Death by Kirbycide. Inhale one of them, then leap to your doom spitting out the foe so he dies before you. That's what I did to unlock Duck Hunt

I'm glad if the reports are true and that any future decisions with regards to Super Smash Bros., starting with the DLC, won't involve Sakurai having the final say. He's done wonders with this game, but I still feel he's made some critical errors due to his frustrations with the Internet.

In other random news, I am completely bummed that Sonic Boom isn't in this game. They bring back practically the entire Brawl soundtrack back, but that song is nowhere to be found.
(Or is it? I haven't gotten all the songs yet.)

Anyone got any tips on getting a single elimination in cruel smash besides "get good scrub"? Make a Mii Swordsman, load it with tons of Defense boosting equipment, and have counter. Spam counter. You can try it with Ike, too, but it's easier if you have more defense. Cruel fighters have bumped up attack power, so they hurt themselves a lot, too, if countered.

I haven't gotten all the songs yet.) Nah, some Brawl tracks did not return, such as Melee's Fountain of Dreams.

The only thing I could think of the top of my head is Ridley... but I agree that Ridley shouldn't be playable. Since being a giant dragon is really his entire character... and if he wasn't a giant space dragon it wouldn't really be true to the character before anyone brings him up Bowser's size has fluctuated and nine times out of ten he's only slightly bigger than Mario. While Ridley always dwarfs Samus.... except for the original Metroid where everyone was way off scale... I mean Kraid is shorter than Samus and he's supposed to be several stories tall... not that I think the series will fail without Sakurai or anything...

Takes a while, and you may have to get on the platform to KO them with a charged attack, but it works. I can't get this to work no matter how hard I try. I tried for 90 minutes straight and still couldn't do it. I just want the character that comes from KO'ing one of them, dammit.

(though you don't get the stage this way) Or spam little mac's (probably anyone's) counter

I could care less about Ridley, but my issues is that he's clearly anti-Internet, for one. While I understand being frustrated at your hard work being shown for free, Smash Tour is an awfully poor replacement to Adventure Mode on the Wii U. And, I will attest that a Smash Bros. game directed by fans would be terrible, there were quite a few obvious omissions from the playable roster that hopefully yields big bucks for Nintendo with DLC (you all already know my #1 request). He has done wonders, but I am more interested into the franchise's future. This'll sound strange, but there is a possibility they might have an Ultimate Smash Bros. which incorporates new fighters and materials in the works. Purely speculative, but it never hurts to think about it.

I kinda see the idea behind it... but the execution just isn't there... for instance there are too many turns where nothing seems to happen.
