I'm going to assume if TNA goes under WWE will buy the video library. I also assume they'll sign EC3 and maybe some others but that won't be a long time after TNA goes under.

I think the WWE will pick up some of the backstage peoples like Jeremy Borash and folks like Magnus will get sign .Also peoples like Chris Melendez and Mahabali Shera may get sign because they are raw and the WWE like sign peepoles like that

The only ones in TNA that I can really picture WWE being interested in are the former WWE/ECW stars; the Dudley's, Tazz, the Hardy's, Dreamer, etc. and it woukd mainly be for the HOF and the Network more than anything else. There are a few who I could picture WWE being interested in sending to NXT like maybe the Wolves or Magnus. But for the most part I really don't think TNA boasts anyone who WWE woukd regard as MUST HAVE stars.

Yeah they've got to get those hot current TNA talents like...
Oh and also...
And lets not forget...well crap.
I think they have a good collection of indy talent to work with in development/NXT that are all superior to anyone they'd bring in from TNA. Enough to keep them occupied with sporadic callups for a few years.
Stuff like what Sephiroth said above is about it. Recognizable people like the Dudleys perhaps coming back for some minor temporary return like the New Age Outlaws did recently and maybe a HOF induction.

I absolutely think WWE should sign the Dudleys for at least a short/RVD run, barring that I'd be okay with watching them finish out their careers raising hell in NJPW against the Bullet Club and such. Out of the current TNA roster I'd definitely sign Joe, Aries, Roode, Edwards, Harris, Kim, King, EC3 and Perkins. I'd put EC3, Edwards, Harris & Roode (As a team again damn it), Perkins and Kenny King on the fast track to the main roster. Aries, Joe and Kim I would leave in NXT (with decent pay) to have great matches with the current crop down there and help them get ready for the main roster.

I maintain that they should have signed Shark Boy years ago His gimmick is perfect for merchandising.

Part of me would think of WWE going on a pick-and-choose signing spree, but then I realized some other facts for whether WWE would give a outright signing spree that hasn't been touched on:
-Due to the WWE's new policies for signings, every new [non-WWE] signing has to go through NXT to begin their WWE careers. This is already part and parcel of new TNA stars coming in.
-NXT is, was, and always will be a Triple H project. Everything that makes NXT awesome, every piece of it- it's all been Triple H proving to every fan who may still be scarred from his Reign of Terror at the top that yes, maybe his character was a heel, but Paul Levesque is REALLY REALLY GOOD at this wrestling thing, and when Vince dies, we'll be in good hands with him.
-With the "Reign of Terror" by Triple H- much of the Reign of Terror victims were not just "to make Triple H a big star", but also putting himself over most of the big-name WCW alumni who were filtering their way into the WWE, making Triple H better than WCW.
-This had to be done because due to Triple H's quad injury- he had to miss out on the entire InVasion angle...an angle that ended up being arguably the most disappointing angle in pro wrestling history.
Put those things together:
YOU DON'T THINK TRIPLE H IS SALIVATING OVER TNA POTENTIALLY GOING UNDER RIGHT NOW?
If TNA does go under, and the TNA trademarks/wrestlers are available for purchase, then Triple H will suddenly get the chance to have the TNA wrestlers, going into HIS project of NXT- getting him an opportunity to do the InVasion again and do it HIS WAY this time to try and get it right.
With all of that in mind? I'm not saying "they pick and choose"- I think: WWE's signing everyone, they're bringing them to NXT, they're running InVasion II there, and Triple H is going to kill himself to make sure he NAILS IT.

Jesse Godderz is young and would be a good, cheap investment for NXT. Maybe not immediately, but I could see him land there in a year or two.

I'd like to see the Invasion Angle redone. During a Triple H promo the TNA roster runs out one by one, eats a pedigree, Triple H says "who are these guys?", and it's never referenced again.

Absolutely not, you'll see a bunch of guys they were hanging onto so TNA couldn't have them released and everything cut back to bare bones from the roster to the production team until the network starts to turn a profit. Anyone worth having from TNA is either a top tier indy talent or a former WWE guy and they would expect a reasonable deal and a slot on the main roster, things the WWE would be hesitant to give them at this point in time. You'll see a lot of TNA's better talent working indies for 6 months, then retiring. Stuff like this is why I hate WWE sometimes. If WWE didn't think highly enough of a guy like Brad Maddox, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, Alex Riley, etc. to do anything with them, why does it matter to them if TNA has them? Why not let them go the moment they decided they weren't going to use these people so other companies can make use of them, even if that company is TNA. The way it stands all WWE did was waste years of these guys' lives. At least TNA DOES allow guys to work indy shows.

TNA has some great talents, but it seems like they're tainted in some people's eyes simply cause they're employed by TNA. Austin Aries is just as capable a worker as a guy like Daniel Bryan and is great on the mic. Why not utilize his talents? Bobby Roode while not getting any younger is also damn good in just about any sort of criteria you have for a wrestler. Manik (TJ Perkins) is a guy who hasn't had a big break much of anywhere and is extremely underrated. Then you have Ethan Carter III (Patrick Bateman) who's shown he's more than a one dimensional wrestler. Why not use that talent if you can sign them?

Sign Jeff Hardy and Lashley to the main roster. Put Magnus and Roode in NXT to get acclimated to WWE style. Sign Joe but tell him he can only stick around if he doesn't look like shit by the end of a month or two.
I'd be in favor of bringing in ECIII and the Wolves, but I think those respective bridges may be burned. Tell everyone else to pound sand.

I think they'd cherry pick a few and pass on most of them. ROH and Japan or Mexico might get some of the rest, and others will have to either leave the business or be journeymen indie folk.

If anything, Aries has always struck me as similar to CM Punk in that he doesn't take any crap from anybody and has a loud bullshit meter when it comes to bad ideas. Act like a decent human being around him and I've been told that reputation doesn't hold up.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but on Jim Ross' latest podcast he mention he has heard the WWE isn't interested in signing anyone.

Jeff Hardy will get signed, I've never much cared for him but the pops he got and the merch he sold during his last WWE run would indicate WWE would get an instant return on their investment. It's possible he might refuse if he has enough cash as he doesn't like the travel I heard and he may insist on them resigning Matt which I doubt they'd go for.
Rockstar Spud, Crazy Steve, Jesse and Robbie E should all get nxt tryouts.
Bram will probably get another chance due to family connections but might have to wait a year or two.
Magnus, Gunner, Shaw and EC3 will probably get booked in Japan or Mexico and then receive their WWE chance in a few years. EC3 might have trouble, trouble, trouble passing wellness at the moment.
Of the knockouts only Gail Kim wouldn't look out of place as a diva but she's already had two runs. Maybe Rebel for nxt.
Roode and maybe Joe if motivated could get backstage roles and then be given a 'goodbye' run before retirement like Finley was.
Angle and Dudleys for legends contracts HoF.
Abyss, Storm, Kennedy, MVP, Aries: No chance, well known enough for Japan or the convention circuit I guess.
Everyone else: indies or career change.
