Honestly I would of much rather seen LW title fight as the main event because honestly and does anyone really give a shit that Tito Ortiz having a fight against Stephan Bonnar in the year 2014. If took place in 2006/7 maybe but since both fighters are long out their primes I have feeling this one is going to stink up the joint unless there is a finish in the first or second round.
I hope Bellator's gamble by making this main event pays off because if this is going to head to head with UFC 180 they are going to get slaughtered ratings wise.

This definitely feels like something you'd see in the UFC in 2005. And just like the UFC in 2005, it's airing on Spike.

Is this the guy that had the masked trainer and was cutting a wrestling promo about Jenna Jameson or some other such nonsense?

Eh, I was entertained by it, I watched the preview show last night with those 2 in a face to face interview, and I liked it. I'm hope Bonnar wins.

For a company that should be showcasing talents like the Pitbull brothers, Pat Curran, Michael Chandler and Will Brooks, Bellator seems to have a fascination for fighters past their prime main eventing their PPVs in non title fights.

Gotta feel bad for how Joe Vedepo's face now feels as that looks nasty.

It looks like they just grabbed all of the TNA sets and are using them here.
Bellator feels like a wrestling show... interesting take.

Event has been good so far but do they really need to a lame USA vs UK gimmick event next year.
Though the Bobby Lashley vs James Thompson rematch has epic trainwreck potential written all over it.

Too many quick fights, I feel. Finally, we have Chandler/Brooks... which has been an interesting fight thus far.

Chandler knocked so loopy, he couldn't even defend himself, or even know what happened.

Sadly can't these fights but good to see Brooks win. Hopefully he gets some respect now, the way Bellator has been treating him has been shady as hell.

Well that was strange ending to the fight.
But Chandler was gassed so hard it looked like he was about to keel over die.

It looked like Chandler may have spiked himself slightly on the takedown and then the clip to the temple sent him into a state of temporary amnesia that...well...Brooks helped via knocking his skull again, again, again at the end.
Weird ending, all around.
