I'm a pretty big comic guy and I don't think I've actually seen one in print in a store.

I've actually been buying them, only missing one issue thus far. The first 4 issue arc "Money In The Bank" was decent, if goofy, and you can get it in a trade paperback now. The next 4 story arc was freaking god-awful. The story sucked and the art was some of the worst I've ever seen, with the artist just tracing promo pics half of the time, and even then not getting the characters right.
A new story arc just started which is basically just some big computer program collecting wrestlers in their prime and storing them in The Matrix to fight each other. Nothing groundbreaking and while the art isn't great, it's loads better than issues 5-8. And you get to see Steve Austin fighting Hulk Hogan on a pirate ship, so that's a plus.

I wish they did a story arc where the WWE wrestlers have to fight evil wrestlers from an alternate dimension.

I bought the TPB of the first few issues with the Money in the Bank story arc. It was fun for what it was, but I don't see myself revisiting it again anytime soon and I have zero interest in the next volume if they continue with the TPB releases.

The latest issue, which has a nice vintage! 1990 Hulk Hogan artwork cover by Joe Jusko (which it what drew me in), has dead wrestlers being brought back to life for some reason. I AM NOT KIDDING THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING BUY IT NOWIt's the only issue I own, and because the context is so wildly insane I want it to be the only issue I own just to keep the WTFness of it alive forever.

Okay, you've convinced me. I'm leaving my house right this second to go to the comic shop.

You wanna know what's going on with the WWE comic? {Spoiler}Issue nine features a gestalt John Cena/Hulk Hogan attacking Daniel Bryan and Roddy Piper. I'm dead serious.

{Spoiler}The insanity doesn't stop with Composite Cena/Hogan. At one point, there's a hybrid Dusty Rhodes and..... Trish Stratus. You heard that right.

Actual dead wrestlers or fictional ones? If its the former, then the WWE hasnt learned its lesson from the Eddiesploitation backlash.

What drugs are these writers on? Or, are they just eating rotisserie chicken?

And y'know what? I'd enjoy it if actual WWE played out like this latest storyline. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Let's be honest, you all wanna see Daniel Bryan fighting off an army of John Cena/Hulk Hogan hybrid clones.

What drugs are these writers on? Whatever keeps the pain away, I'd reckon. ........is it known to most that Foley's writing these comics? Because he is.
