At least until he beat up Lawler in the cage. Huh, that's odd, Clash. You somehow zoomed in the photo of the actual Mary-Sue being addressed that he can't be seen anymore. I'd say he's a borderline "Jerk Sue" if you ask me.

Aside from one person, none of those are Mary Sues. Depends of the definition of Mary Sure Brian is on the definition that he is the one that symbolizes the view of the creator.Clearly flawed tough. Cena is the paragon of everything right , he who can do no wrong and can not fail. Bella Swan is...well,i don't think it requires explanation. A Mary sue is a blatant author insert who carries the authors views but at the same time constantly wins and is the focus of everything. Cena....maybe. The rest no.

But HHH, Stephanie, Dixie and Jarrett were the actual authors, and were always dominant figures who were/are the centre of their shows, how much more of an author insert can you be?

Self inserts or author avatars are not necessarily Mary Sues. Brian Griffin may reflect MacFarlane's views, but the character is an alcoholic failure of a writer often mocked by the Griffins.
Kurt Vonnegut created Kilgore Trout based on himself and even literally appeared in his own books, but neither one even appeared all that successful let alone a Mary Sue.

I don't think she fully qualifies because she was fine in the first two games of the series, but Liara T'Soni in Mass Effect is dangerously close to being this in the third game.

It doesn't help the image of Mila Jovovich that one of her biggest roles is overseen by her husband.

Are you actually making a case that Bella Swan isn't a Mary Sue? No, Bella Swan is not a Mary Sue. Her boyfriend, Edward Cullen is, but Bella is not.

"Hi, folks. You may be wondering if I'm Martin Sheen. Well, I'm not. Turns out I'm his vastly more talented but less appreciated brother. Thank you. "

Drift. He left this territory somewhat when James Roberts was writing him, but now his creator is writing him again, he's back to square one

Are you actually making a case that Bella Swan isn't a Mary Sue? No, Bella Swan is not a Mary Sue. Her boyfriend, Edward Cullen is, but Bella is not. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/TwilightClick on the Mary Sue Tropes tab, then come back here and try to convince me that even half the things listed there about Bella are not true.

Bella is such a Mary Sue that the original Mary Sue read about her and thought "damn, she's a Mary Sue."
