Yeah, he's definitely joining Team Cena in someone's place.

As others have said, I'll believe it when I see it. They've thrown this around so often that it's the Boy Who Cried Wolf at this point.
And if he does appear, I will mark and that's all there is to it.

That or Sting turns on Cena before Cena can turn on him. Cena no sells and turns on Sting anyways. Ric Flair nods approvingly at ringside. Not happening. WWE is much more logical than to just have Cena and Sting occur. The obvious form would be simple: Cena and Sting ally with each other and the debuting Bayley, as all three get the entire WWE roster betraying them and turning on them, over and over again, all night.

Guys from the boom period are literally gonna have to be dead before WWE stops using them as the solution to everything, aren't they? Even then, it's not certain.

HHH tries to interfere and Sting repels down from the rafters, points the bat and then drops his ass with a Scorpion Deathdrop allowing Team Cena to win. That or Sting turns on Cena before Cena can turn on him. Cena no sells and turns on Sting anyways. Ric Flair nods approvingly at ringside. I'd be absolutely SHOCKED if WWE ever had ANYONE rappel down from the rafters again.

I hope they pay an obscene amount of money to have Sting there.
Then it's Sting and the Police.
This happens in the first segment, rest of the show is them pointing at laughing at the screen for 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Sadly I'm in Canada so I won't get to watch Survivor Series as Rogers screwed us over for the network. That's the only reached I touched this spoiler thread with a ten foot pole. If it is Sting though I'll sure as hell be searching for video of it (through legitimate means of course) and marking out like my teenage self did during the Monday Night Wars. I was one of those fans who really enjoyed watching both shows (TSN enabled that by showing raw after school on Tuesday and Nitro after school on Wednesday).

Yes but who will betray him? Cena finally turns heel by betraying the most trusting man in wrestling.

Surprised this hasn't been said yet but if this is true about it possibly being a Sting/HHH Mania match, that says Undertaker won't be wrestling on the card. That's a big deal, as far as I'm concerned. Looks like he really *is* done...

That's a big deal, as far as I'm concerned. Looks like he really *is* done... There is absolutely NOTHING about there being a HHH/Sting Mania match. In 3 pages this went from being "Sting will be at Survivor Series" to "Sting will be wrestling at Survivor Series" to "Sting will be on Team Cena" to "Sting will get into it with HHH". Now it's "Sting vs HHH" at Mania? I'm all for speculating, and it might very well end up that way, but saying " Looks like (Undertaker) really *is* done" because Sting is going to be appearing at Survivor Series is a huge f***ing stretch man. This is how rumors get mutated into the grotesque beasts we try to avoid.

Would they really introduce Sting to a WWE audience without fanfare? I mean, even Bret Hart had to have a 'for the benefit of newer viewers' video package on his return and he actually made his legacy within the WWF/WWE.

I mean, even Bret Hart had to have a 'for the benefit of newer viewers' video package on his return and he actually made his legacy within the WWF/WWE. They're giving away the show for free anyway. The fanfare would come from social media buzzing during and after, more people tuning in to Raw on Monday and people thinking "oh my god anything can happen in the WWE! I should get the network!". Or at least I think that's their mindset.

Vince did tweet earlier that it'd be a "Survivor Series you'll never forget!", so I could see it happening.
