So here's a guy who went through a lot of different phases. If you were to pick one, which was your favorite Test era?

I kinda liked him when I was a kid and he was feuding with Shane. I also wanted to see him kick HHH's ass after what happened with the wedding, but I don't remember that happening.
I don't think I ever cared about him outside of that.

I liked him, moreso when he was Pseudo-Nash, with the leather pants and long hair. I always found him fun to play as in games, since he had so many finishing moves over the years, giving him a pretty solid moveset.

From an importance standpoint, his apex with the night that he almost married Stephanie McMahon. Then he just kind of...fell from there.
I remember him being pretty over--despite no ability to talk. Why the fall from grace? Did he ever have the "next big thing" vibe around him in the dirtsheets or anything?

I liked his cross tattoo with the sun and moon. His big boot was one of my favorite moves as a youngster.

Test was one of the most over guys in the company during the Shane feud, which is saying a lot considering everyone was over, and was surprisingly good for a big man. It was such a shame how he never recovered from the fallout of the McMahon-Helmsley formation.

I liked him
But he missed the opportunity of a lifetime. Had he bagged Stephanie in real life, things could have been so much better for him.

Face Test before the formation of T&A was great. Short-haired Test was a ball of suck, especially on ECW with his roid physique.

Face Test was, as others have said, very over.
I personally liked long-haired heel Test. He wasn't a very good talker but there was something about him that made you hate his guts. I went to quite a few shows during his time as the Alliance Mole and during his time in the Unamericans where he wrestled singles matches. The crowds I was in HATED him. I mean, the Unamericans were always going to get a lot of heat but Test seemed to get the brunt of it for some reason.

I liked when he was treating Stacy Keibler like crap and acting like a big douche. I didn't care about the Steiner feud or their tag team but felt he could of been used in a main event role as a selfish, cheating douchebag similar to Rated R Superstar gimmick of Edge. It could of worked well had they thrown a bunch of other legendary divas in his corner(Trish or Lita)for a while.

I was never a fan, aside from his sweet elbow drop. It's a shame the dude is gone though.
I still find it strange how they had that one ECW title match where as a challenger he walked out. It might've been interesting if there was something after that story wise; but it turned out to just be odd.

Made no sense.

I kind of wonder what would have happened had he married Stephanie, because there's no way in hell that he'd be in HHH's current position of about to take over the company.
Test was alright, a solid big man wrestler but I was never really interested in him outside of his feud with Shane.

He was ok, and that was about it really. A solid dude for your midcard, don't get me wrong, but never gonna blow ya away either in the ring or on the mic.

I remember that I really enjoyed Test earlier on. Even modelled one of my CAWs after him in one of the WWF n64 games. He never did get a chance to get back at HHH in any way whatsoever. Both him and Albert were great big guys and I even enjoyed their team. Still, it seemed like he never really managed to be anything more than a midcard guy after the Steph fiasco. I can't remember if the Union was before or after that but it was so short lived that I had barely found out it existed before it ended. I remember he feuded with Mark Henry on Smackdown because of jealousy but I don't remember him doing a whole heck of a lot after his brush with the upper card.

Such a shame he never got revenge on HHH I always thought it should've been Triple H vs Test at Armageddon. Stephanie comes in an hits Test with a low blow. Great turn.
