I enjoyed the show. The ending was different, but something else will happen that makes that look like nothing in comparison. Also, I do think Ambrose and Wyatt made the best of that main event.

I don't understand people who blindly except this PPV and anything WWE has done post Mania 30 being good. We are throwing away 9.99 on absolute crap. And for those that say don't take this seriously are crazy. If you don't spend money on the WWE then fine but I spend money here and there on them and have the Network so I want something as good as NXT on a constant basis. NXT's blandest show is better than Raw's decent show. It's ridiculous. I'm ashamed to buy using my money to watch this.

Reddit, send Vince McMahon a fruit basket for this show.
...not because it was so great like for Triple H... Honestly, I like to believe Vince has the same diet Ron Swanson has, and so I bet a fruit basket would really tick him off.

To me, that show was an exercise in futility nearing Abyss levels. Guys busting their asses, having these really painful matches, doing all this wild stuff....but I was just numb to all of it. That was a really bad PPV, where even the hard work fell flat because it was applied in a way that felt desperate. Everyone was trying to do something to stand out and get a reaction on a show full of gimmick matches, and it came off so poorly. TLC needs to not happen again.

I want to be given a engaging product of now like when I was younger but it's not happening anytime soon.

Every match my thoughts going in was "just don't get injured". Harper/Ziggler was painful to watch. I don't want to see guys turn their bodies black and blue like that anymore. Ambrose/Wyatt was fun. Kendo shots and some chair shots, but it seemed safe enough.

Just reading the recaps of the show does not inspire me to return to watching WWE anytime soon. The WWE is facing new criticism about their lack of concern for the longterm health of their talent thanks to the CM Punk podcast? Have the hometown guy Ziggler (who the fans, especially in Cleveland, are particularly hot for) and Harper damned near kill themselves in the curtain jerker match! You have two relatively hot tag acts in a tag match? Have the match end in a schmozz in about the time you would devote to the first segment of the second hour of Raw! Eric Rowan just turned face? Job him out to the most tired act in the industry and don't even bother protecting him in the process! Cena vs Rollins is your stand-in for a title match since you put the title on a part timer that is AWOL? Put it in the middle of the PPV! On top of that, tease a tie in order to raise the possibility that Lesnar's next defense might be a 3 way dance rather than a rehash of the few matches he has had this year and then yank that away! Do you have a red-hot diva's division on NXT? It would be best to highlight how little you actually care about diva wrestling by booking a throw-away match with a screwy ending that could have been seen on any Raw so that no one gets too excited about the future prospects of any diva on NXT! Did you schedule a chairs match between a tired act in Corporate Kane and Ryback, whose booking sounds like it has been a damned yo-yo for months? Let's rob the match of any heat it possibly could have by not putting it as the first match, well after the two more exciting and brutal ladder and tables matches! Did you book a US title match? Best book it in the throw-away spot (second to last match which could be shelved if time is running short), spend less time on it than a typical Raw match, and then end the PPV 8 minutes early, demonstrating that you could have made the damned match a full PPV match but clearly did not care about the match, title, or the talent involved in order to do so! Did you book a TLC match that was clearly intended to elevate both participants to the next level? Step 1: Book it at the end of an overly gimmicked PPV so that it's impact is severely impeded. Step 2: In order to elevate both talents, elect to rehash the worst ending to a WWE PPV ever (KotR '93) rather than have an ending where one or the other barely had enough strength to crawl to a cover and then have both taken from the ring on stretchers by EMTs. Step 3: ? Step 4: Blame both of them for not grabbing the brass ring you teased them with!

I thought it was a really fun pay per view. The TLC Match & Ladder match were sufficiently brutal.

How about "Ambrose-out-crazied-himself-because-he-didn't-realize-monitors-could-sort-due-to-stress" angle?

I still say the problem still stands at depth of character and story. There was no real reason to care for a lot of it, the characters and gimmicks aren't larger than life and deep enough to carry all of the crazy shenanigans which seem to be strung together for the sake of having a match rather than anything else.
The commentators also need taken out back for a good flogging, instead of selling any sort of severity or serious tone they were busy chuckling away about how nutty and whack Wyatt and Ambrose were all the while shucking it up and laughing and joking like idiots. Horrible. No way is that the way to sell the main event.

The FAN: "What the hell happened to Ryback? He keeps getting bounced around by this company. He could have been champion by now..."
WWE gives him one of the best matches of his career.
The FAN: "SAME OLD SHIT!"
The FAN: "Kane is overbooked, he should retire."
WWE makes Kane the default HHH, putting guys over.
The FAN: "SAME OLD SHIT!"
The FAN: "I thought The E was all about the safety of their talent?"
WWE will not dignify that comment with a response, only to say it was the TLC PPV.
The FAN: "The E puts too much of the psychological bullshit drama into their matches. Just let them wrestle!"
WWE tells brilliant stories about Ziggler, Ambrose, and Rowan that well pay off later in their careers.
The FAN: "IDK BECUZ RYDER IZNT CHAMP!"
The FAN: "CENA HIJACKS EVERY PPV!"
WWE puts Cena in the middle of the card...in a rather good match...against another future star.
The FAN: "WHY IS THE MAIN EVENT BURIED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CARD?"
The FAN: "WWE NEVER ELEVATES GUYS!"
WWE gives two of their hottest young stars the main event...NOT EVEN FOR THE BELT!"
The FAN: "They are burying Ambrose by pairing him with a guy who's spinning his wheels, only for Ambrose to lose to Wyatt's Svengali/ swamp-voodoo magic."
There's no pleasing you people. That God you make up 10%, if that, of the WWE's audience.

Today is one of those days where I question if I saw the same thing everybody else did. Had a couple people over to my place last night and watched TLC. It was an enjoyable show with a lot of big moments. Lots of OOOOOs and AHHhhhs as about every match had something that stood out.
I come on here expecting to see some joy and excitement after a good show and instead and I find a large majority of complaints.
I enjoyed last night as did my guests.

I'm not denying that the main event was great, it was just the ending that was bad. (And no, it's not because one of my favorites lost)
