Oh, yeah, there was a PPV last night. Huh.
Yeah, I regret nothing.

To me, that show was an exercise in futility nearing Abyss levels. Guys busting their asses, having these really painful matches, doing all this wild stuff....but I was just numb to all of it. That was a really bad PPV, where even the hard work fell flat because it was applied in a way that felt desperate. Everyone was trying to do something to stand out and get a reaction on a show full of gimmick matches, and it came off so poorly. TLC needs to not happen again. This completely sums it up for me also. I really wanted to enjoy the show, and I knew the guys were busting their ass, but I just didn't. Ziggler/Harper was about all I enjoyed it seemed. My friend watching it with me called it the worst PPV of 2014. I don't know if it was the worst match quality wise, but it was also for me the least enjoyed one I've watched this year.

I liked the ending. If stuff like that becomes "stupid" then I don't know why we're even watching at all. One of wrestling's biggest stars is a zombie and its biggest star ever used to be able to overcome insurmountable odds by shaking his arms and pointing at his opponent.
The most important thing to me is that in a PPV where Cena is, ostensibly, in the title match or closest thing to it, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt were seen as important enough to main event

The FAN: "What the hell happened to Ryback? He keeps getting bounced around by this company. He could have been champion by now..." WWE gives him one of the best matches of his career. The FAN: "SAME OLD SHIT!" The FAN: "Kane is overbooked, he should retire." WWE makes Kane the default HHH, putting guys over. The FAN: "SAME OLD SHIT!" I saw no problem with them having a match. I just would have booked it as the opener match since I don't see either of them as having enough heat to shine after both a ladder match and tables match. I have always thought that the TLC PPV concept was a terrible idea. You want to feature a ladder, table, or TLC match? Go for it, hoss. Book that for maximum storytelling impact and you could make stars. Having gimmick match after gimmick match all in one night waters the impact that any one match can have down. We will have to see. They have killed my good will towards trusting them not to drop the ball on any rising star. I don't mind Cena not headlining. I don't mind someone else headlining. I don't even mind Cena being in the middle of a PPV. I do care that the stand-in match for a WWE title match is in the middle of the show. It either should be the last or third to last match. I don't have a problem with them closing the show. I do have a problem with the screwy ending. The ending wasted so much potential to elevate either competitor. Either have one win convincingly or have both at the point of collapse and have the winner just barely outlast the other. If they had to rehash a PPV match finish it should have been the second HHH/UT Wrestlemania match, not Hogan/Yokozuna at KotR.

The way it is, it makes Ambrose look like an idiot for losing the way he did and Wyatt a wimp for relying on an exploding screen to ultimately secure the win.

i think ambrose lost due to his own hubris, which actually gives the story MORE body to it, and dropping off multiple ladders too human demolition derby is RIGHT, massive hits all round, but AGAIN they stick a couple of duff matches all together (diva's, chair, US title), because those matches before were great! and i actually CHEERED when cena won, thank you roman reigns yep cena wins and liked that heyman as out there

That main event ending was so dumb and it made Ambrose look like a complete fool. Like we're really suppose to believe that a flat screen tv was placed there by people from backstage to be used as a WEAPON? Second, why was it plugged up; what was the reason? I know Cole explained it, but a plugged tv for a TLC match? REALLY?!? Third, this completely show that the WWE has little to no faith that Ambrose can be a top guy. You never job out a wrestler in this manner. finally, I'm very surprised to see people actually defending this ending; I truly wonder how this would have been received if TNA pulled the exact same stunt.

Since when has wrestling not allowed to be stupid?
Didn't like the match, but liked the finish. I found the match lacked any kind of psychology.

I would like to see a chairs match in which no one uses the chairs. Just for the lulz.

I would like to see a chairs match in which no one uses the chairs. Just for the lulz. Even better, build up to the match for weeks by having the heel sneak in and blast the babyface when he is in a match with someone else, have the face tease getting chair-based revenge every week only for the heel to escape, and then finish the match faster than Diesel/Backlund in NYC.
