For me, it's always been "A Charlie Brown Christmas" since I was a little kid....
Now that I'm married, it's almost tradition to watch Friday After Next and Jingle All The Way.

Besides the usual suspects (Christmas Story, Die Hard, Home Alone), I think a highly underrated Christmas movie is This Christmas, with Idris Elba, Lauren London, and (yeah,) Chris Brown.
The plot was standard Christmas stuff but there were some truly funny scenes throughout, like when Regina King gets back at her abusive asshole husband by luring him to the bathroom with some sexy lingerie...then giving him a good dose of classic corporal punishment with a belt. It actually works as a scene even though you know she's gonna screw him over as soon as it starts.
I don't think I've met many people who've seen it, let alone liked it.

Just watched A Christmas Story today, I always try to watch it well before the marathon. Even though we don't have cable, so we couldn't watch the marathon if we wanted to.... there's a chance we might not be at home on Xmas Day, so it may be on wherever we go.
But my yearly watching usually goes: 1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - Kinda the last-ditch Christmas movie as I'm the only one who seems to really enjoy it...
2. A Christmas Carol - George C. Scott version, the best, most creepy and atmospheric version... plus I have a LOT of great nostalgic memories watching this with my mom when it first aired on CBS, then watching the tape she recorded of it that year every year since.... including awesome retro commercials.
3. Home Alone - I watch this with my son, usually when ordering pizza.
4. The Santa Clause - I'll admit, this movie gets REALLY sugary and stupid at a certain point... but there's just something charming about it.
5. Jingle All The Way - with JATW 2 out, this movie is getting a lot of "That movie sucked ass" comments.... well, those people can blow it out their ass... I remember the Furby craze, Beanie Babies, Power Rangers, Jurassic Park, all those crazy toy years and this movie is a perfect parody of the rush with the perfect start to perform those action movie parodies. Granted... the end scene with Arnold vs. Sinbad gets REALLY f***ing stupid.... "Why do I need a toy? I have the REAL Turboman at home!" ..... totally wanna smack that kid in the face.
I still need to pick up Scrooged.

Christmas Vacation is a yearly thing for me and so is the Christmas story. Yes I know its 24 hours on TV but I watch it once but on DVD so no commercial. I try to fit in Home Alone 1 and 2. Same with Elf.

I gave a copy of the "Star Wars Holiday Special" to a bunch of friends, and it is now a tradition in their households to watch that.
As for the gaming club, we're all trying to put time aside so we can get together and watch "Rare Exports" again. It's like a cross between "Home Alone" and "Army of Darkness"!

Christmas tradish (since 2012)
It's A Wonderful Life (Donna Reed was a beauty, perfect wife in this movie)
Original Miracle on 34th Street (Maureen O'Hara was excellent in this, as was Natalie Wood)
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas (love it)
Home Alone & Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
That's it really.

Die Hard Santa Claus Conquers the MartiansIt's a Wonderful Life Trading Places Eyes Wide Shut Thanks for reminding me...the MST3K version of that and of Santa Claus. And the Rifftrax Christmas shorts DVD. /Is the Rifftrax SWHS on DVD yet? //Their SCCTM? ///The latter makes me want to see Cinematic Titanic do Santa Claus for the same curiosity factor.
