So where did it go? Did they warrent a push? Was this just to make Bret happy, and once the buzz over him faded, they break em up and turn them into jobbers?
At least they will always have the distinction of being the last World Tag Team Champions ever.

I still don't get if they were high on the Hart Dynasty only to pull the plug on them, since they made them the first team with the new belts and continuing with a new lineage of the title and not the older lineage. That should've been a sign they had a plan for them.

I don't think either was polished enough to be in the position they were elevated to. TJ Kidd is literally 20x better now then he was in 2010, his current work is some of the best in the entire company. Smith was waaaaaay too green to be on the main roster and continually botched simple spots and he was too stiff in the ring. WWE kept the right one, no doubt.
