Trying to get back to being a regular viewer of ROH after being off-and-on with them for the past couple years. Haven't seen all the new (to me) folks on the roster yet, but currently my fave guy is Kyle O'Reilly (who was a dude I was getting into last time I watched regularly, in 2012).

So are we going to start a weekly thread or just combine it with TNA?

So are we going to start a weekly thread or just combine it with TNA? I was going to use it as the TNA preshow, much like COPS was while they were on Spike

I think that with all the staggered showings on the Sinclair stations, NESN and the ROH website before its DA showing, that it won't get enough attention as its own thread. As a joint thread with Impact, it can work.

just a random thought but has there been a guy on the indies in recent memory to lose as much steam as quickly as Elgin did? It wasn't that long ago he was looking like he was going to be one of the next big names on the indies, now? not so much.
I mean it's happened to other indy guys like Eddie Kingston, but that was over time. Elgin had a very sudden drop (some his fault some not)

People got kind of tired of his schtick but after that Tony Kozina thing where he beat up that rookie, the douchey promo when Richards and him tried turning it into a gimmick, then no showing that indie show, f***ing up at NXT, it seemed like he became despised very, very quickly. Far more than Elgin was. But yeah Richards wasn't really in high esteem prior to that anyways. I have faith Elgin will turn it all around.

Elgin is highly insecure and lacks confidence. Top that off with being a tedious personality.

Oh I don't mean in terms of fan fare (and yes people stopped falling for Davey's shit after the 4th fake retirement) I mean in terms of going from looking like a big deal on the indies to being almost insignificant as a whole on the indy scene. Davey could still show up at a show tomorrow and be seen as a huge deal. Elgin? Right now no. I mean there are acts that were never ROH champs that are treated as a huge treat for indy feds (ACH, Rich Swann, Richochet, Uhaa before he got hired) Elgin? He went from being in a 5* match with Davey (and arguably another one with Steen) to being "meh". Part of that is on ROH IMO for just waiting way too long to put the title on him to the point that when it happened nobody cared and were more pissed that Cole lost the belt, but also Elgin's attitude hasn't helped either. Now as you said Elgin is young enough and is finding is groove again as a heel in ROH, but he is no longer that guy who was the next big thing in ROH, nor is he that guy that had a grueling match with Adam Cole in BOLA where you thought you were looking at two future superstars.

ROH haven't put their early access show up yet for Ringside Members, making me wonder if they're saving it for Destination America, which I hope is not the case because I'm like, paying for this.

Sounds like Joe and AJ vs. Addiction will either be dark or changed all together after WWE exercised a clause in their contract with Joe that makes him a full time WWE Superstar.

Man, it just hit me, who would have ever thought that in 2015 we would see an ROH Nationwide TV taping (following a live PPV no less) headlined by Samoa Joe and AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian? And add to that, that Samoa Joe looks to be the favorite to take the fall (if it goes clean which I doubt) simply because it is easier to book around his full time WWE gig than hang an L on the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles or either member of the ROH World Tag Team Champions?
3 years ago I would have literally laughed in someone's face for saying that but what a difference a few months, let alone a few years can make.
