Still holding out for a response from two. Heard from one. Just be patient.

Update: attempting to remedy the lack of judges at this time. Will hopefully have something tomorrow afternoon if I get the responses I need that I've just sent out.
Having to resort to a plan I had a couple of rounds early. It was already in the plans, but I'm having to pop this cork a little early.
Basically, former contestant pool is going to be averaged together to make up for one drop-out, one lack of reply, and one extremely busy. PM has been sent out with further details to the former contestant pool. Hoping that I'll have a grip on how this might look tomorrow. There IS a plan; it's one I already had, like I said. Just inconveniently having to attempt it in the middle of a Stage.

In the meantime, may we at least know what everybody chose this round?

Anonymous. For judging purposes. I have a system in which I reveal who picked what when I know it won't affect scoring.

So do I still respond or not?

So do I still respond or not? This is a complete guess, but I'd say to go ahead and still respond- who knows, maybe the eliminated people's scores will be combined with mine.

After what should have been way less complicated than it was, results for Double Dip Round 19 will be up tomorrow. Everything is now in and ready to be tallied. Working on it.
This round is unique in that judges do a 1-13 ranking, but the top tier and lower tier picks from each contestant are grouped together to reflect individual judge rankings charts like the previous round in Stage 5. Takes a little extra work, but it'll sort itself out to reflect a mathematical constant equal to the other rounds of the game so that one round is not overinflated in comparison to the others.

Yeah, sorry for turning the game all topsy-turvy with one of my picks the way I did. Certainly was not my intention.
It'll be good though that we can all get back on track again.

It was a good pick, man. Don't worry about that. There were multiple square pegs trying to fit through the results hole this go-round. Just a stars misaligning thing.

Felicity Smoak: Look at all those stars. Mr B. We have done quite nicely in this game, haven't we? Felicity Smoak: Dude, I'm not talking about us. Where do they all come from? The awe in the infinite. MGH: I tend to agree. Pink Shirt Mod: And no two the same. fw91: Uh, isn't that the snowflake rule? Voice From the Infinite Domain: Yeah. But it's certainly not the World Series pick submission rule. Felicity Smoak: Did you hear that?! The marvels of the infinite! Voice From the Infinite Domain: You think this is a marvel? Brace yourself for amount of numbers you're about to have to filter through... -------------------------- DOUBLE DIPDOUBLE DIPIn this, our second round of Stage 5, we are at a pivotal point where a Bottom Three is being established for the Elimination Round. The Top 3 will earn their way to the Semi-Finals Stage automatically. In what has been the most complicated round of scoring thus far, we now have our Round 19 results. Below are two sets of results charts. The first, we begin with now. We had four sets of judges as we normally have. In order to match the scoring of the previous round and the round to follow, each of the contestant's Double Dip picks had to be divided into two tiers or two sets of picks. In order to do that, the highest ranking pick from each contestant went into Tier 1 while the lower ranking pick went into Tier 2. Strategically, fw91 chose his Stage Four perk of adding an extra pick to this round. The lowest of his three picks would automatically be left out of the final tabulation, but it still served to take rankings slots from other contestants in the Tier formulations, which was a very nice twist in the scoring overall. Below is the Tier Adjustment chart, as well as the Preliminary rankings from judges... {Spoiler} After the Raw Scores from above were used to place contestants, this leads us to our Final Results below. The race for Semi-Finals gets very interesting!... {Spoiler}

This game has been a real roller coaster for me with constant ups and downs. With that last round though I feel like I might just be able to make it to the final four.
Guess it all depends on how the next round goes. Gonna be a tight race, I suspect.

==================================================================== ====================================================================It's 11:59 and 59 seconds. This happened in your dreams a few decades ago ...Apparently, Calgon takes you away to a dreamworld where a creeper stands over you and narrates your every move in the bathtub? One woman's 911 call is another woman's "paradise," I suppose. So, now that you know why guy contestants didn't get a yes to that date offer on Saturday, contestants, tell us what other products might need to come with aloe vera... fw91: Your Hindenburg boarding pass? Mr. B Natural: Lawn Darts: Rugrats Edition. Pink Shirt Mod: Dustin Diamond's sex tape? Welcome to World Series of Pop Culture STAGE FIVE, ROUND TWENTY! It's @midnight!---------------------------------------------------------- CHOICE #1DREAM A LITTLE DREAMDREAM A LITTLE DREAMThis round is open to any medium of Pop Culture.A category long in the works and one that was also recommended via contestant suggestion, we now move to the realm of dream sequences. The task for this round is to choose a clip of any featured dream or dream sequence as it was originally recorded via the pop culture medium of your choice. As long as the content contains a part of a dream sequence, it fits here. You can have footage from outside the dream sequence as well, just as long as a dream sequence is featured at some point. Clips must be kept to under seven minutes for this category. Also, props to Iron Tyger for the mention on this one as well. ------------------------- CHOICE #2GAMES AND HOBBIES OF THE 90sGAMES AND HOBBIES OF THE 90sThis round requires a selection specific to the Pop Culture medium of Games and Hobbies.Contestants, our second challenge for Round 20 is another direct genre requirement with no strings attached. We are asking you to feature a representation of a game or hobby from the 1990s. The choice itself that you submit can be anytime from the 1990s to present day as long as the game or hobby was developed, invented, or created in its represented form at some point during the 1990s and not in another decade. Basically, the point is the game or hobby must have had its beginnings in the 1990s. However, this must exclude video games. We're working to represent Pop Culture at large in our game to see who has that well-rounded prowess. This is yet another dimension of that Pop Culture circle. ELIMINATION ROUND IS NEXT, so bring your A-games!

So for the second part of this round, it could be like a picture or something? "Representation" has me thinking that. Also, if any of you pick the last scene of Dallas, you're getting punched in the face. That's really all there is to it.

So for the second part of this round, it could be like a picture or something? "Representation" has me thinking that. Also, if any of you pick the last scene of Dallas, you're getting punched in the face. That's really all there is to it. "Representation" was vague as I could get. I try to avoid words like "clip" or "video" so that if people get creative ways to submit entries, it's good on them. I personally think a picture of a box or something would be dead last, because the name of the game is to judge on submissions. A picture of a box winning over my creative "representation" of a entry would severely make me want to quit. Creative pictures? Another story. For instance, I would severely discredit a judge as a player if someone submitted that picture of the Gameboy in the round introduction and someone else submitted actual game footage from a game from Gameboy and the one that just submitted the picture won. Video game footage and entries not allowed this round, but that's an example.

...be right back, going to see if I can travel back in time and put a tiny bit more thought into those submissions.

Bah, found a perfect entry for the dream sequence category only to realize the source had already been used earlier. Well, back to the drawing board for me.

One more turning in results tonight. So judges notified in the morning or afternoon if I wake up and see two approved picks.
