The situation is this:
fw91 has the lead. 53 points.
But only one ahead of pop culture survivalist Mr. B Natural. 52 points.
Pink Shirt Mod, just two out of first place. 51 points.
MGH in 4th, but completely in the fight for first. 49 points.
This is a round where things could get flipped upside down. Any of these are within range of being one of the Top 2 automatic qualifiers. At the same time, a situation still exists where three could qualify automatically if a 10-point gap exists between 3rd and 4th. Many reasons for all four to come out swinging. 2 slots, possibly 3, are on the line. At the same time, it's as much defensive as anything else, for all four are also capable of facing the danger of auto-elimination with the 10-point gap if things fall apart in this round. Elimination Round Six waits in the wings. But who will it be? Or will the need for one even exist?
Up to this point, no round has had as much weight attached to it.

CHOICE #1
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
This round is open to any medium of Pop Culture.
Sometimes, the city of New York is just not big enough to contain the story of Seinfeld. Sometimes, The Office needs to branch out from Scranton to Stamford or to Corporate, Florida. Contestants, you may use any medium of Pop Culture here, but in your selection, you must feature two different locations at some point within the selection as it originally appeared when it was created. (In other words, no fan compilations and no fan-edited montages.) Because switching from scene to scene would be uber easy within a relatively confined general place, we are requiring that the locale shift is between two significantly different zip codes. (New York City and L.A. have several zip codes, but the point is to feature a different city or state or country altogether if you decide to go that route.) Please keep your selections to under 8 minutes. So, essentially, the task here is a piece that presents two different locations/zip codes at some point within the selected entry.

CHOICE #2
POP CULTURE INCEPTION
POP CULTURE INCEPTION
This round is a MIXED MEDIA round of Pop Culture.
With this selection, we are looking for one medium of pop culture to be transformed and take place within another medium of pop culture. An example of this could be like the last round's submission of Degrassi High, IF--let's say--for instance, The Zits are a real band and that the music video being shown in the previous round's clip was real. If Degrassi High--a TV show--featured the music video of The Zits--from the medium of music--then the point of the round has been fulfilled. Another example might be if there were an episode of The Wonder Years that featured Kevin watching "The Heidi Bowl" as a New York Jets fan. If you simply take a clip where music is playing as the soundtrack to a scene, that does not count. The "pop culture inception" must be one pop culture medium appearing within the realm of an altogether different pop culture medium as a part of the selection you make. Let's be sure to keep any selection under 8 minutes.

CHOICE #3
ONE TRUE PAIR (1960s EDITION)
ONE TRUE PAIR (1960s EDITION)
This round is open to any medium of Pop Culture from THE 1960s.
Our previous decades rounds have been much more straight forward, but this final decades round is inspired by a theme proposed by one of our contestants earlier in the game. The general theme here is to feature any selection from the 1960s that involves a couple or a tandem noted for being part of a two-person team of some sort. Example of what would work outside of the 1960s barrier: Steve Urkel and Laura Winslow (romantic couple). Example of blurring the lines to a point that would NOT work: Seinfeld and Kramer. While those two are both interacting often on the same comedic platform within the same show, it would be difficult for me to say Seinfeld and Kramer are "one true pair." Example of a non-romantic couple outside of the 1960s that would work: Cat-Dog. Use your best judgment on this, but please make sure it doesn't blur the lines too much. We are looking for "one true pair." There is a 7-minute limit on this round.
