Now remember guys, Brock is only on a limited contract, and he'll probably leave after his two year contract is up... So let's just have him face the same two guys a bunch of times. Oh and waste a match on Big Show. (Other than that he will get two memorable matches against Punk and Undertaker.) Lesnar since his return has had 9 matches I think-
Fought Triple H THREE times.
Fought Cena THREE times (with a fourth one probably coming up)
Fought Show...
Fought Punk.
Fought Taker and crushed the streak.Admittedly, the first two matches with Cena were fantastic and the third had a lot of promise until the ending when Lawler and Cole insisted Brock was about to tap out before Rollins interfered (even though Cena had him in a pin). How would you have used Brock? Personally I would have added at least one more PPV match a year to his schedule to make his appearances not seem so spread out. I would have got a few vignettes from him even if it meant flying a camera crew to Brock's house. I wouldn't of had him lose to HHH, and rather than just facing Cena over and over, I would have had Brock take on a variety of challenges. Out of 9 matches we couldn't have seen at least a match with Orton, perhaps a match with a big guy like Sheamus or Batista. Cesaro? Rollins? Bryan? I'm sure Lesnar will face Reigns at Mania, at least thats a fresh match. I thought making him the unstoppable champ was going to be AWESOME. After breaking the streak and then breaking Cena at Summerslam but then nothing. And now he's going to face Cena again and then lose to Reigns and it's bye bye Brock.

the Taker-Lesnar match was not needed, neither was his match against Show . rematches with HHH was pointless, Cena v. Lesnar for the title SHOULD have been there final match. they could have given us Punk-Lesnar 2, & let Punk go over. Other matches that should have happened ( I know these are still possible) Lesnar V. Sheamus , I think these 2 can tear the house down, and give some creadibility back to Sheamus ( I think he's not being utilized properly) , Lesnar V. Bray Wyatt ( in reality Heyman/Lesnar V. Entire Wyatt Family) just imagine the promos between Bray & Heyman. Lesnar V. Daniel Bryan should have taken place already- hopefully we get this at some point, Lesnar v. Batista is one I want to see for old times sake, & I certainly wouldnt have minded Rock V. Brock rematch, Lesnar V. Cesaro ( these does not seem likely now), V. Ziggler could be a fun match to see, and finally V. Ryback

Agree ^ other than the match vs Taker was necessary.

What, you mean you don't want to see Cena vs Lesnar AGAIN? But its tge ultimate match!
But seriously, to reiterate my theory of how things shoujd have gone: Cesaro, as Paul Heyman's client, follows up his momentum by winning the IC or US belt and going on a tear, but gets tired of Heyman constantly talking up Lesnar instead of him do he dumps Heyman as his manager. Heyman calls Lesnar back in to put the upstart in his place.

Orton and Lesnar would of been a great match just for the fact that Randy can bump but also the fact that Randy can play up he's not like Cena. He would drop Lesnar anyway he could whether it be the Punt kick or the RKO. Hopefully a match can get this year. Also Sheamus and Lesnar trying to KO each other would be good.

Cesaro or Sheamus (and therefore the company) could have gotten 10 times more out of competitive losses to Brock than HHH got out of three matches, tons of TV time and a win at Wrestlemania over Brock.

They should've just had Brock not show up since SummerSlam if they were gonna do this. Night of Champions tarnished what he did at SummerSlam.

The first Cena match is a classic. Keep that. I would also keep Brock demolishing Cena for the title and beating Taker, plus the first Triple H match. All the others? Pointless rematches, which for a rare talent who barely wrestles and has a real aura is a complete waste.

WWE's goal isn't to pair Lesnar with someone he can help build, it is to pair him with guys who can maximise profit.
Lesnar by himself is not really a draw compared to say Lesnar V Cena or Triple H.
Running the same matches in to the ground sucks for us as fans, but works great for WWE as a company at least in theory (of course it might in short term, but long term it's stupid)

Honestly, and I may be the only one. But I want Lesnar to turn face and face Rusev.

Given the lack of appearances, you need to make the guy's matches count, not waste them on rematches over and over again.
Booking 101 says you build him up and use him to put guys over who need that "last little push" to become stars...but you don't need to do that by letting them beat Brock. Rather, you could elevate some guys just by letting them get into the ring with Lesnar, and at some point stand toe-to-toe with him.
You could still have his money matches with guys like Cena or 'Taker, but those can be saved for big cards while you use his other appearances to elevate newer stars; as said before, Lesnar vs. Sheamus likely could've been a very, very effective brawl, and could've helped Sheamus solidify his spot.
It's too bad the way things have gone with him this year, though; having him break the streak and then dominate Cena meant allowing him to do two things nobody else could do, which set him up to be the ultimate "final boss" character that an up and coming star (Bryan? Ambrose? Reigns? Bueller?) would have to finally dethrone, but this huge gap of time since his last appearance is really ruining that, making the entire enterprise of letting him end the streak and letting him dominate Cena seem pointless.

Cena vs. Lesnar at Night of Champions didn't draw as it was, and the third time inside of a year isn't going to do any better. And either way, it just goes to show the lack of foresight the company has. They just don't seem to get that every now and then you need to be willing to take a loss to sustain yourself for the future and so they just keep going and going and going with the part-timer stuff and keeping the same people in the main event far past their expiration date while barely bothering to set anyone up for the future.

Kayfabe-wise, did they ever discuss the possibility of Brock captaining Team Authority at Survivor Series? Because if I had my job on the line, I'd at least want to TRY and recruit the guy who managed to demolish The Streak and John Cena in the span of 6 months. Plus, it would've been a way to have Cena gain some inconclusive revenge on Lesnar for Summerslam that would lead to their actual rematch that Cena wins, instead of that Night of Champions fiasco. And also could've gotten some guys who wouldn't normally interact with Lesnar a chance without "wasting" an appearance (have Rowan knock him on his ass a few times in the match, have Rusev show him no respect since even The Beast Incarnate is an inferior American in his eyes, etc)

There was better odds of him reluctantly joining Team Cena. Heyman also said Brock didn't accept Rollins' apology.

Ah, but if they didn't do the horrible Night of Champions match and saved Lesnar for Survivor Series, Rollins never would have curbstomped Lesnar before they teamed. Hell, you could have had Rollins do it during the Survivor Series match instead for a new twist on the MITB cash-in, a teammate turning on another mid-match.

Exactly. Big Show tanked the Survivor Series buyrate in 2013, and they still wasted a Lesnar match on him.
