Apart from a desperation to see two fresh faces closing the show, I'm really struggling to find reasons for Ambrose/Wyatt to main event over Cena/Rollins. See...you have to understand that, when he was growing up, a young John Cena was going through some problems. While his athletic accomplishments were there, he had a hard time adjusting when he learned to drive a car. This led to a long-standing problem where Cena, in an attempt to learn to parallel park, drove throughout the United States and Europe, then proceeded to run over every member of the IWC's beloved pet. That is why Ambrose/Wyatt must main event. That sonofabitch murdered poor Mr. Fluffypants! Worst of all, he didn't even say he was sorry, he said he couldn't see him, then he waved and drove off over my prized rose bushes.

You have to question why Ambrose/Wyatt is a TLC match to begin with. Considering there are no tangibles on the line, and neither wrestler is known for being a high flier, there is no reason to bust out a ladder.

Because most fans are SICK AND TIRED of John Cena being in the main event.

Fair enough, but why a tables match for Cena beyond "He can lose and say he slipped like he did before". As goofy as the "stairs match" is, at least there's a storyline purpose for it.

Because most fans are SICK AND TIRED of John Cena being in the main event. This. Especially in heatless non-title matches.

There's no good reason why they shouldn't really main event the show.. I agree the storyline so far has been lackluster but still this is the main storyline that was built from the main event of the last major PPV before Survivor Series...
Reasons for it are it would be kind of silly from a set up standpoint to have a tables match follow a tables, ladder, and chairs match... John Cena's star power is not hurt by not main eventing, and Ambrose and Wyatt are on the other both helped by being given the main event. I don't see what the problem is here.

There is no reason for any match to main event. Shit, there is no reason for there to be any of these matches. The whole show is built on nothing but "We'll it is Dec. and we have TLC so um....Cena can face someone in a TLC match, no wait, that is too dangerous for him so table." and so on. Really the best built match is the damned Divas' match but that stand as much a chance at main eventing as I do.

If anything should main event, it's Harper vs. Ziggler, becuase that match is going to be incredible. And it's for the top prize in the biz at the moment!

Some people think that Ambrose and Wyatt are going to usher in some sort of new boom period and they're the greatest wrestlers to ever step foot in a ring.
I don't suppose I'm being fair due to that fact that I'm not huge on Ambrose and I hate Wyatt, but some tend to be hyperbolic with both guys.
And I'm as sick of John Cena as everyone else, but in no way do I think Ambrose vs. Wyatt should main event.

An uninspired Raw to start what I find to be the most uninsipiring annual string of WWE shows (TLC, Raw, Live Smackdown, Honor The Troops Thing). EDIT: I wrote Raw when I'm referring to TLC and yknow I'm not gonna change it because the show for all intents and purposes feels like a Raw already. And it's a shame because the first 3 TLC shows were pretty great PPVs (2009-2011).

Not only was it the main event, Ambrose vs. Wyatt was better than Cena vs. Rollins!

My main problem with Cena v Rollins main eventing is it's just a tables match. Has a tables match ever headlined a PPV? Once somebody goes through a table it's over whereas in Bray v Dean we could see multiple table bumps rather than them teasing it for 20 minutes. Also how many great tables matches can you name? Sheamus and John Cena headlined in a very memorable tables match.

If that was gonna be the finish, might as well have had Rollins/Cena and this match swap places on the card.
