I mean JR just blogged about it and I've seen other saying how it should be and I'm just dumbfounded. Yeah it's a TLC match, but it also isn't even remotely close to being the most important feud on the show. Cena vs Rollins is the only one that makes sense to close the show.
Am I just zoning out too much during the Ambrose/Wyatt stuff to know that it's important or is the feud not really all that big of a deal?

Because dislike for John Cena overrides everything apparently.

The main event should be Brock suplexing the winner of every match and single-handedly destroying the entire locker room.

Apart from a desperation to see two fresh faces closing the show, I'm really struggling to find reasons for Ambrose/Wyatt to main event over Cena/Rollins.

Maybe people think the TLC match should main-event TLC?
Although it's hardly unheard of for the match the show is named after not to be the main event, MitB stands out in that regard.

The TLC match didn't main event the show in 2010 or 2012. Every even year, it steps aside for another match/whatever Cena is in.

Because it's a TLC match in a TLC ppv. It's not about the feuds but rather the kind of matches.
As for Cena/Rollins, I personally don't give a damn about their feud. I'll watch the match because it'll be good but their feud doesn't interest me especially when I know it'll end with Cena going over with the schmutz and getting the 3 second tan. I don't know.

I love Ambrose but his feud with Wyatt has been lackluster and shouldn't main event. Just because the match is after the PPV's name shouldn't mean imstant main event. They could be in the middle of the card and steal the show. Rollins beating Cena on PPV one on one will be big for him unlike when Ziggler did it and it wasn't followed on.

Wasn't aware that anyone wanted to.
Honestly, nothing on this show feels like a main event. Might as well end it with a Doinks vs. Bushwhackers tag or something.

It would be the forth time in WWE history that a PPV is main evented by people who have never previously held a WWE world title before

I've never heard this "A TLC match needs to headline the TLC PPV" before. I mean I never even thought of TLC in the PPV name referring to a single match as opposed to an umbrella term for Chairs matches, Ladder match and Tables matches. Hence the chairs match, and this year now it's TLCS and accordingly there's now a stairs match.
Not even an argument, imo.

My main problem with Cena v Rollins main eventing is it's just a tables match. Has a tables match ever headlined a PPV? Once somebody goes through a table it's over whereas in Bray v Dean we could see multiple table bumps rather than them teasing it for 20 minutes.
Also how many great tables matches can you name?

I don't think it's worth digging your heels in over either way. I do think the Wyatt/Deano match is likely going to be better than the Rollins/Cena tablt match though, so there's that.

Well, The Hardys vs. The Dudleys comes to mind, but I don't see Cena vs. Rollins coming close to that.

Apart from a desperation to see two fresh faces closing the show, I'm really struggling to find reasons for Ambrose/Wyatt to main event over Cena/Rollins. See...you have to understand that, when he was growing up, a young John Cena was going through some problems. While his athletic accomplishments were there, he had a hard time adjusting when he learned to drive a car. This led to a long-standing problem where Cena, in an attempt to learn to parallel park, drove throughout the United States and Europe, then proceeded to run over every member of the IWC's beloved pet. That is why Ambrose/Wyatt must main event.
