#CancelWWENetwork is the top US trend. Wonder if they mention that on Raw lol. I'd say they will, in the sense of Triple H doing the same shit he did last year and doing something like, "Awwww, wanna cancel your subscription 'cause somethin' ya didn't like happened?" in a stupid baby voice. Wouldn't surprise me, though it would look really stupid in kayfabe since one of the guys he didn't want to win won.

Start of Raw the next night was him coming out amidst Bryan chants and starting off by saying, "Awwww, someone didn't get what they wanted?" The worst part is, that line would make no sense considering the HHH character didn't get what he wanted either, as evidenced by the end of the show. But yeah, he will probably say that.

It's funny that when Brock Lesnar ended the Undertakers streak at Wrestlemania last year the smarks were pissed and many said that Roman Reigns should have been the guy to do it. Fast forward to this years Wrestlemania and the same smarks are crying about the thought of Roman reigns being the guy to beat the guy that beat the streak. Fans can be fickle. I'm sure two years from now, when our final two are Reigns and Mojo Rawley, we'll have a different opinion. Back to Bryan, they seem bound and determine to make "fetch" happen with him vs. Sheamus. Maybe we should let just get behind it this year so that Vince can finally get it out of his system. But at least he probably has a match, which is more than I can say for Ambrose.

I'm actually not as angry as I expected to be about this. Like I said elsewhere, Bryan's interview about SD top guy sealed it for me.
The way I see it, this is what wrestling is supposed to be about, it's very old-school and basic - big dominant champion, young guy wins Rumble, dethrones him at Mania for the only world title. We haven't seen this in so long.
Roman is good. It's too early for him but that's not his fault. All I can do now is get behind it, try to enjoy it and look forward to his almost-certain feud with Rollins after Mania.
Things could be A LOT worse. And I'm hoping that negative reaction doesn't carry on from here.

Here are my thoughts...
What a fiasco. OK it's there company and they can do what they want.. But they really did to do it better.
Oh it's a smark town... Then don't f***ing book it in a smark town. Seriously if you're a fan of DB or not it was clear that the energy was sucked out of the arena when he was eliminated. There were little sparks but they were quickly extinguished. Did they think this would not happen?
As said they will probably put DB in the title picture with the story that he never lost it before his injury. But come on you just can't murder a crowd like that. The booking was poor poor poor.

I will say, one thing I like is that compared to earleir years, they actually acknowledge the crowd more now. And mock it less. They acknowledged several times how the crowd was disappointed that Daniel Bryan was eliminated, and seemed to sympathise with the crowd. Ditto for other favs like Ziggler being eliminated. The announcers didn't even push Reigns down our throats and actually didn't put him over much during most of the match, kind of matching how the crowd wasn't giving him love.
Still an awful poorly booked Rumble match, but at least the calling of it I liked. Ditto for stuff like the crowd cheering for Cesaro, the announcers went with it and also put over Cesaro, didn't say the crowd was "bizarro/crazy" for cheering him.

Just got home from the show not too long ago, I don't really have anything to add to what's already been said. Ill try to just stay positive over the awesome world title match I guess.
Sigh, just sigh.
It'll all be okay if Rollins cashes in successfully at Mania. That'd make it all worth it.

And there wouldn't have been a, "Let's go Rusev!" chant this year if the alternate option to Rusev was Ziggler or Kofi or something.

Reigns was freaking over last year. Dunno what happened, but ever since his injury, fans have either turned on him or stopped caring. Reigns had Shield momentum behind him, and rightly so, as he was awesome as part of the Shield. The problem with momentum is that unless you do something other than coast on it, sooner or later it will run out. Roman has done nothing but coast. Rollins has bust his ass to improve on the mic, Ambrose has bust his ass to have great matches with everybody he works with. Reigns has added a couple of cheesy catchphrases, and trying to apply his hot tag routines to singles matches. There was already some signs of fan backlash before his injury, and now it's just gone critical.

For what it's worth, WWE's poll for the show has 6.6 thousand voting they liked the show, over 22,000 voting they didn't.

Nevermind him still being in Shield attire, having the Shield theme and having absolutely no change in persona since the breakup. He has not evolved or shown willing to change at all all, I think that's done to creative and him for not trying to change himself within the realm of the push he is given
