WWE just saved me at least £30 and a couple of late nights staying up to watch
It's their show, and I respect that. I'm not sitting here crying or moaning however I planned on getting the network when it first launched but by the time it did, the desire to make Reigns the next Cena was in full effect so by the time it launched over here I figured I'd wait and see how the rumble played out. They've went the direction they went which is fine but I have no desire to contribute to their income if they only want to push who they want to push

Hey guys, remember that delusional nightmare I think we all had last night about the Rumble being a complete disas-- Oh shit, that was REAL?

A few things I don't understand; 1. Umm Curtis Axel was never eliminated, he never even got IN the ring 2. Was it just me or was Kofi Kingston booed heavily? Is he a heel right now, or were people just booing him because he sucks?
I didn't seem to hate RR as much as everyone else. I actually was glad when Bryan got eliminated because I figured he was the obvious choice to win, so then I thought "oh well now it will really be a surprise"....till Ziggler got eliminated. I really only watch the "big" PPVs so I thought they were still pushing Ziggler after Survivor Series. Apparently they've already killed that. Daniel Bryan I really couldn't care less about, when he gets on the mic its like listening to an old episode of Tough Enough where they cut their very first promos.
I never understood why Boogeyman was always treated like some joke character. His gimmick is no goofier than the Wyatt Family thing, but they get main event status while Boogeyman was always in the midcard doing nothing.

He makes Randy Orton look like Randy Savage. The corpsing-filled promo he and Rock did after the show was embarrassing.

For what it's worth, WWE's poll for the show has 6.6 thousand voting they liked the show, over 22,000 voting they didn't. That's approximately 77% voting down that show. Now gotten even wider, as it's as 24,000 vs. 7,000.

Having now marinated a bit on the show...
I must say that I did have a great time being there live last night. I think it was the most fun I've had at a live event...up until Bryan got eliminated. I'm not the type of person who chants or claps much, but even I was getting into it (not the chanting, but I found myself cheering a lot more than usual) and popped huge for Bubba Ray's return.
The crowd was hot. The action was fun. I just wish Reigns didn't win. I really don't hate Roman. I actually like the guy a lot. I think he has a ton of potential and I enjoy him quite a bit. I'm just...not thrilled about his time being now.
I kind of feel bad for everyone who had to work in the ring after Bryan got eliminated. They busted their asses, but there really was no saving that match. The right guys still got some good cheers, but the crowd knew what was going to happen and...well, let the company know.

When Justin Gabriel quit right before the show, he was giving you the heads up that some bullsh*t was going down... Justin Gabriel is a prophet. Expand on that how you will, if at all, but just putting it out there...

I tweeted this last night, I am a Reigns fan and want him to succeed. Last night was not the time or place for him to win, they shouldve pushed it a year. I wish Austin was interviewing Vince once again for the podcast next Monday to see how he would spin it. I know this has been said multiple times before but I miss the unpredictability with the WWE and it seems to be missing for the most part.

I've been trying to look and I can't even find the poll. The poll currently is "Who was the most surprising entrant" with the options being Bubba, DDP or Boogey. When I hit "Previous Poll" it asks me who I think will be the next "Mr. Wrestlemania" with some of the options being Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk...

My biggest problem wasn't with Reigns winning it. It was a few things. It was them eliminating Daniel so early in the match. They had a chance to ride a hot crowd and they refused to do it. If their argument is that they didn't want to work him hard with his shoulder...put him in at 20. Hell, put him in at 25. Have him be one of the last 4 and make it count for something. Don't have him get thrown shoulder first into the stairs and then have him get eliminated even before the halfway point of the match. Ride that wave for all it's worth and get something back. The second thing was the eliminations being so sloppy and then having Show and Kane basically tear through everyone like nothing sucked the air out of the arena even more, no matter how much sense it made. And then the final straw was having the Rock come out to be the heat shield for Roman. It was such a cynical play to get Roman the Sympy from the crowd that it can't help but turn off anyone with half a brain. It did not make Roman look strong (heh)and the crowd smartly turned on it after the initial reaction. They seriously have to take a step back and think about what they're doing with the brand and try to put a stop to the scattershot booking for everyone else not in the main event, and stop rigidly marching forward with the ME plans they have. Nothing feels organic in the company anymore, it hasn't since Daniel rose to stardom, and they've got a long way to go before it feels like that anymore.

You know, something just occurred to me. They advertised the Austin podcast interview with HHH twice in the broadcast, once during, once after. And between that and the Rock fiasco, that means...they knew this was coming. They were fully ready for it. They're going to cash in on this "controversy" again like they did with Punk and try to get more subs out of it. Ugh.

Is he a heel right now, or were people just booing him because he sucks? I'm thinking it's a combination of people not caring about the New Day thing, and a backlash to him.....kinda being stale? I feel bad saying that, because he's good and does a lot of different stuff in the ring, but he's been around for at least 6 years now and there's nothing new to his character. And with respects, the avoiding elimination gimmick is getting old, and I could definitely see that post-Bryan crowd last night crapping all over anything stale or status quo. Boogeyman was not a good wrestler when he was on the roster. The gimmick was almost literally all he's ever had. Not sure if that workrate's improved in the indies since, but . I never understood why he was never in a Rumble match (or any battle royal) before this - it's the perfect place for him, as either a brief cameo appearance (like last night) or a few minutes doing fairly limited ring work, which is the least anyone (him included) should be able to do in a Rumble.

I'm fine with Roman winning. Not elated but fine. I think Roman v Brock is a simple, classic wrestling story and I hope there's good buildup in the two months remaining.
