One thing I hope WWE get right is ensuring that he's not treated as a young breakout superstar when he's a ten year veteran and former world champion.

I think our own forum has provided a plausible explanation behind his "rise":

My personal hope is that in 15 years we can look back at Dolph Ziggler's career like we do Shawn Michaels'.

Man it makes me happy to see him getting this push. Maybe the fans really are a deciding factor, because they go apeshit for this guy in every city and now he's in this position. I'm begging you, WWE. Throw me a curveball. Make Ziggler the guy who finally gets the torch from Cena and I'll immediately have less cynicism towards the product.

I think our own forum has provided a plausible explanation behind his "rise": The joke works especially well due to her not being exactly subtle that she thinks Dolph's a good looking fella.

Now is the time to finally change that stupid frickin' name. It's probably the *only* thing that's still holding him back.

I think they're finally going to give the guy the ball - even if he DOESN'T win the Rumble, I get the feeling he's going to be used better going forward. They can't afford to have too many weak babyfaces right now.

I'm insanely happy for him and I do wish this run will last and I'm going to watch his interview with Cole right now....
But I wish WWE, when it has its back against the wall, would opt to improve the entire show rather than just push one guy the crowd likes in hopes that it will suffice.

This could have been the next Batista's bulge thread. "Our next question for Cowboy Bob Ellis comes from Tim from our forums; "How big is Dolph Ziggler's dick?" The fact Amy Schumer talked about his athletic style in bed and not that tells me he is mortal like all of us.

I believe that Dolph could drill a female or bottom boy through the ground if he wanted to.

He deserves it.
(clap clap clapclapclap)
Larger-than-life is great, but sometimes, I'd rather just have life. Ziggler's drive, his struggle, his perfectionism, it's all very relateable. Every time he gets a big win it's so satisfying as a fan.

I think Ziggler should be "The Man". He's a good looking guy with a good look. He is a real workhorse with charisma. And hell, Ziggler can actually do the "douchebag comedy face" schtick that Vince thinks all top faces should do. Just never, ever let him cut a promo on Pat Patterson again.

I want Dolph to win the Rumble. I think Dolph/Brock could be an all time great match. Could you imagine him selling Brock's offense? The near falls would cause a Cali earthquake from the pop.

Dolphs grown on me as of late (probably not a coincidence that it correlates with them booking him well)
I don't think he has the potential to ever be one of the main talent though, he's a solid uppermidcarder that should be fueding with main eventers and putting them over in between their major fueds and putting over midcarders on the rise all whilst being kept strong so that when he puts people over it has impact.
problem with him is he'd be a better heel, but theres a large enough segment of the audience that will cheer him no matter what so they have to keep him face really whereas he's be more use as a heel, he should be the sort of heel who can actually wrestle and go in the ring yet still cheats at every available opportunity
