Yeah... Mania 18 was like 13 years ago using his shape then to justify him wrestling NOW is stupid...
as has been stated with all of his surgeries AND HAVING A METAL ROD IN HIS BACK TO SUPPORT HIM he can barely walk, and has trouble with the ring steps...
not to mention He can't big boot anyone, he can't body slam anyone, he can't really do the axe bomber, he can't do the leg drop and he can't bump... so basically he can punch people... and maybe pin them.
as an 80's child that grew up in WWF Country... I love Hogan... but Hogan should not even try to wrestle at this point... because he pretty much physically can't.

No. Absolutely not. Especially as this would likely be at the expense of a couple of workers who would probably benefit from a WM spot.... ...like who? Throw a dart in a dartboard. Anyone. You seriously think Hogan deserves a spot? Please.

Just stick him in Cena's corner for his match against Rusev.

It's so obvious it would be Diego. Diego is even on the voting list twice in this thread.

Hogan vs. Rusev. The match consists of a test of strength, then Rusev kicks hogan in the stomach and puts him in a bear hug for 10 minutes. Hogan powers out, Hulks up, then hits Rusev with Jimmy Hart's megaphone and pins him. Rusev crushed!!!

People were against Hogan coming back to wrestle at WM18. The arguments were different but the sentiment is the same. I don't get this "every match on the card should cater to me" attitude. I'm happy to accept I won't like every match doesn't mean I'm that bothered about them happening at all. Those who like what Hogan does will enjoy it, those who don't - won't. But let's not pretend the negative response to any proposed Hogan match hasn't been there for at least the last 10 years. He literally can't even leg drop anymore, though. He can, but when it comes crashing down, it hurts inside.

Change of subject but looking back now, it feels so weird and wrong that Hogan was in TNA.

Tag match.
Hogan Axe Bomber some random heel into an AA allowing John Cena to win a title shot later in the night because that's how you pass a torch, brother.

Just stick him in Cena's corner for his match against Rusev. Make Hogan a huge part of the build to the match. Rusev threatens Hogan. Cena makes the save. Hogan coaches Cena for the big match (the biggest since Andre at the Silverdome, brother!). Make Cena's big Wrestlemania entrance an homage to Hulk Hogan's. Real American. Wearing the "Hogan 84" title belt. Rusev kicks out of the AA, so Cena does the Big Boot/Leg Drop combo and gets the win. Hogan and Cena celebrate the win with the Hogan 84 as Real American plays.

Throw a dart in a dartboard. Anyone. You seriously think Hogan deserves a spot? Please. For what it's worth, my suggestion would actually get people on the card, since Hogan would need a lot of help. Hell, the match would probably only see him getting involved near the end, with a lot of attempts to tag him in getting thwarted to build heat. It's probably the only way to get him into a match that lasts for more than a minute.

Hulk Hogan does not need to have another match. At most, he could be part of a multi-man tag match ala Bret Hart at SummerSlam a few years ago. He can punch at people. Rake someone's back. Pose. But that's about it.

Since people are posting ideas for a final Hogan match... My idea for a final Hogan match would be the most emotional moment ever (maybe) Though Hogan's ego would never allow him do it. Say Hogan was to do a match at Wrestlemania next year, he passed the medical et al. How about if they had Hogan saying he can't do it anymore, he's too broken down, brother. He's just here to help the young dudes. But a heel beats down Hogan or maybe Hogan is forced to wrestle by an authority figure. It could be a pretty neat "Rocky Balboa" kind of storyline where Hogan has to dig down deep one last time. He could even reference his back surgeries and say he can't even do his finish anymore. Then have the match be a brawl and have the, in real life and in kayfabe, severely limited Hogan have the fight of his life but just come up short. It would be neat to have him training ala Rocky. ----------------- Poster Showcase added: I'd love for him to reference the back surgery and bring the real life troubles into it. I think that's definitely the shades of grey that WWE could do with utilizing rather than the whole "no faces and heels" bullshit. Especially if you also had Hogan visit people of his past for advice with some telling him not to do it, like him asking Jimmy Hart if he'll be there at ringside with him and Jimmy saying he can't support Hogan killing himself. Maybe him training with Show, trying to recapture the fire of the man who slammed Andre, the old Hogan. Maybe even show him stretching with Bruno and working out with DDP, trying to come into his own physically. It would be a great performance piece, biopic like, culminating in a perfect retirement match. Though only if Hogan actually goes away afterwards and stays retired. ------------- I added- Except in reality if Hogan did do one last match he'd be "hanging and bangin' dude" and acting like he could still do what he could do in 1984. It'd be a trainwreck. But if he did my idea, tweaked his character like this, sure it "weakens" the Hogan character, but he is like 61 and he has had eight back surgeries. He should be weaker. He could still do the Hulk up. Maybe he could be practicing a new finisher in his training vignettes. He would get more sympathy if he plays it like he cannot win, he isn't sure he should be doing this, but damn, his pride has been tested and he is going to go out there and do his best. A little bit like Rocky. He loses to some heel and then never wrestles again. This gives him an excuse to basically stink up the joint (in terms of an actual wrestling match) as it would all be based on spectacle as long as Hogan can take a few bumps. ------------- Urn Anderson added- If they did this and put him against a monster heel who spent the match beating him from pillar to post, the hulking up spot would almost assuredly be one of the biggest pops in history. ------ I added

People are bringing up WM 18, but even then he kinda sucked in the ring. That match was good because of the hot crowd.

Change of subject but looking back now, it feels so weird and wrong that Hogan was in TNA. It was wrong that Hogan was in TNA. They'd be a lot better off if he wasn't. But if you're referring to, "it's a shame that Hogan had his last match and deserves to retire in WWE", then I disagree. He made his bed and it's too late for him to have an actual retirement match.
