Seeing as I plan on seeing the new one, I'm seeing the previous one on YouTube
Anyone have any thoughts on the superior one with Kathy Bates as Ms. Hannigan?

Why is every Annie movie always her origin story? The comic strip ran for 86 years, surely there must be something else in it to make a movie from then orphans singing "It's a Hard Knock Life".

I know, right? Even in Annie v. Lil' Abner: Dawn of Funnies, they HAD to have that begin the movie! And now they tell me Beetle Bailey, Dick Tracy, and the Shmoo will have cameos? This is a worse clusterf*** than Popeye and the Man who Hated Laughter!!!
