Here's their description:
Clearly they have at least one wrestling fan on staff, as their Podmass column also acknowledges wrestling podcasts sometimes, but this is fairly accurate.
And it brings me great joy that someone else recognizes the greatness of the PCS.

Dead serious, if PCS doesn't make it on the list, TNA can EAD.

Watch, they won't even mention the PCS tonight, but Dixie going through a table will be no less than Top 3.

Whoever wrote that, they come off like an idiot. Spike's done right by TNA at most every turn and why on earth would they be running repeat footage during a peak hour for ratings?

I've only seen the attitude that they weren't come about after Vince Russo wrote that blog of his... which just makes me shake my head that people are treating Vince "You don't understand, Bro" Russo as a valid source of information.

It's the new mentality among wrestling fans who want to blame Spike for TNA's shortfalls and current plight instead of the company itself. It's the traditional mentality of people who are unwilling to acknowledge that something is awful. "It can't be TNA's fault they are shit: therefore it must be because Spike did nothing to promote TNA, that's why ratings are stagnate/falling."

Spike promoted the hell out of TNA. From 2007-2010 I couldn't turn on Spike for 20 minutes without seeing an Impact commercial.
It isn't Spike's fault that when people tuned in they didn't like the show.

It isn't Spike's fault that when people tuned in they didn't like the show. Yep, the January 4 show, while the biggest Impact in history, did more damage to TNA than they'd like to admit. They got a lot of viewers, they're head to head against Raw, they have an unopposed hour, and they give us shit. The first match we get is a cage match where you can't see inside, and it ends in a no contest. That first hour only got worse from there. Had they put Taylor and Sarita vs Hamada and Kong in the 1st hour, that would have been excellent. The new fans would have seen a fantastic match, and thought "Hey, this is awesome. What else do they have?" We got 2 fantastic matches in Taylor and Sarita vs Kong and Hamada, and AJ vs Angle, but they were surrounded with so much shit. So fans saw 2 fantastic matches, surrounded by horrible stuff, a lot of it was stuff fans were sick of a decade before. Then they tried starting a new Monday Night War. That made them look like a bigger joke.

That's because they've never ran a promotion. Meltzer is the closest thing wrestling has to a legit journalist and when he gives his opinion it is usually well thought out and based on fact even if my personal opinions differ from his sometimes I still respect where he's coming from, that being said I could easily see him running a promotion in to the ground.

And this is the point I was making. Russo's opinions are usually none of this so even when I find myself agreeing with something he said, I always know there's either some delusion or outright lies coming my way (and Russo almost always delivers on this). This is a man who thought wearing a SF Giants jersey would really prove that the Hogan/Jarrett was a shoot and who claimed that the Montreal screwjob was all his idea. At least taking Meltzer's opinion at face value will give you a biased version of the truth as opposed to a biased version of pure nonsense.

Spike treated TNA far better than they had any right to, what with the broken promises and wasted money they got in return from them. TNA was once Spike's crown jewel, one problem Spike got shows that made them more money and got better ratings, while TNA lost money and ratings dwindled.
But it's just like TNA and Ditzy to blame everyone else but themselves for the problems they have

Yeah, I wasn't agreeing with the Spike thing so much as the acknowledgment of the Glory of the PCS
