Watching the "Red Carpet Special" Lita, she's had the job done, right?

Is Rude not already in the Hall? Unfortunately, Rick Rude still hasn't been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It's such a travesty that Rick Rude still hasn't gotten inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

I was worried about Hogan and his ego but he was great, as was Lanny.
Blayze stole the show, though. I love her.

I know it wasn't about Lanny, but part of me wished The Fink would have come out and said "And now a poem from The Genius" before Lanny started.

So apparently HBK told Triple H "3 down 2 to go" as he pointed to Triple H and X-Pac. As if it wasn't enough proof that X-Pac would go in next year. Which he should. I know the cool thing is to hate on the Kliq (not accusing you of it) but they all (well, not Justin Credible but he's only an associate) deserve it. Pac is one of the first great lightweight/cruiser/small flyers and other than Minnesota, Dallas was a huge part of his story. I disagree. HHH said Chyna can't be in the HOF because of her porn. X-Pac was the co-star of 2 of those tapes. If it's good for the goose. It should be good for the gander.

I love Larry Zbysko, but Madusa who I wasn't excited about being inducted, has given one of the best speeches I've heard Ever.

Overall, having slept on it - enjoyed the show.
Rikishi didn't like much, feel like I like him as time goes on, shouldn't have ignored Too Cool in his speech IMO Larry Z went on too long but I did enjoy hearing about Bruno's hedges. Alundra Blayze was absolutely awesome - as I said elsewhere in this thread I actually become more of a fan of her thanks to this speech. The Connor and Warrior was just wall to wall tears for me, still get a bit misty eyed now if I think about Connor's brother saying "I love you Connor" Bushwhackers excellent particularly Butch who was clearly having the time of his life. Just great to have Randy Savage in the Hall Of Fame, loved Poffo's acceptence speech including the mention of Mr. T's mother. Hogan's impression of Savage was also great. Fujinami did great with his speech considering English is not his first language. I loved that Arnie quoted from his movies. Kevin Nash, just loved he spent some time talking about the Oz character, enjoy it when wrestlers are willing to talk about their old shames.
Overall besides Rikishi one of my favourite HOF shows I've seen.

I agree with whoever said on this thread that the Hall of Fame is officially legit now that Savage is finally in. Though they did make great strides the last few years by putting in Sammartino, Backlund and Warrior.

When the Bushwhackers were announced I didn't get it, but their following the Warrior award suddenly made more sense than anything.

That Warrior/Connor induction was one of those things that was both absolutely heartbreaking and a little uncomfortable. It felt weird to hear those who lost so much give speeches that almost felt like WWE-scripted stuff. Maybe I'm looking into it too much.

Finished watching the hall of fame. Madusa was the highlight. She was awesome and she really owned the whole belt thing. The bushwackers were hilarious and they reminded me of the old dudes you talk to in the pub. Lanny kinda went on a bit. Arnold was awesome purely for its not a tumor and walking out to the terminator theme. HBK was hilarious and real and i kinda wish Nash went a little longer. Now originally i was gonna skip the whole Conner part because i didnt wanna tear up but then i totally did and all it did was make me wanna wake up my son and hold him and never let go of him. Conners dad has to be the strongest dude on the planet to go through all that and stand there and give that speech for what is basically him being brave to spread awareness and help the cause so others dont have to go through what he did

I wonder if they will induct The Rock next year in Dallas, though I'm sure they'd prefer to have him actually be in a match since they want to fill-out AT&T Stadium. I would think Sting and DDP would also be contenders. I think the Freebirds going in is a sure thing.

They're hardly going to be used to or prepared to give speeches in front of such an audience about such trauma in their lives. It wouldn't surprise me at all if WWE helped write their speeches for them to read off. Dana and Connor's dad (sorry, I can't remember his name) might even be grateful for it.

WWE has writers available to help all the speakers at the Hall of Fame. Why the hell would WWE not also extend that to Connor's dad? They wouldn't. Some wrestlers don't want help, but WWE has writers available to help.
