How about Rusev versus his idol Zangief? Zangief wins, but they then tag and shit gets awesome. Plus Zangief would teach him the tornado piledriver, and maybe get him some training sessions with Haggar and get him the spinning lariat.

Rusev would eat about anyone on the roster not named Lesnar.

I'd pay to see Rusev vs Brock, shoot or no. Rusev has a chance.

Rusev would kill him.
Rusev has the physique of a genuine tough guy
Ryback has a bodybuilder physique. It's all for effect.

Rusev is built like a walking barrel. That's a real tough guy physique.

How about Rusev versus his idol Zangief? Viktor Zangief? The great Russian amateur that did a handful of pro matches? Or SF Zangief? As a pro, Viktor Zangief had this damn rotating double underhook hold with a flip, don't know what it's called and never saw anyone else do it. He was real agile, flexible, gracious. But he was like one of those vintage wrestlers from the 1920's. He could wrestle great, but he couldn't brawl at all. He could wrestle you in a phone booth, and that's all the space he needed. I'd give the edge to Zangief. Rusev has a shot if he lands some strikes on him because he wouldn't have a clue about taking strikes but if Zangief grabs him, it's over.
