Um, guys? I know there was a thread here a while back about him maybe being done, since his WWE profile was moved to the Alumni section 2 months ago, but upon wondering today if there was anything to that.........and indeed there's an update, from the end of November. www.pwinsider.com/article/89572/great-khali-update.html?p=1Leave the {{ indistinguishable yells}} alone.

I just figured if we don't call attention to it it'll stay that way.

Yeah, this was well known for a while. Really? I mean, it's no real surprise since the thing about his Alumni profile was mentioned. But usually if the news of someone definitively leaving is reported someplace (PWInsider or wherever), it gets a thread and a link at some point. ........I rely on FAN, not on other places. I guess this is the crux of my post. *hugs*

Well, I missed this news first time around so thanks to the OP for sharing.
I hope Khali's happy with the career he carved out in the industry. I don't think I'm the only one who figured he'd be monster of the month and gone within a year of debuting. He was never going to be a technical marvel but he definitely became a presence and a name in the industry and he continued to tour and appear despite physically deteriorating.
All the best to Khali and I hope he's resting his knees.

Honestly, I had no idea he was gone.
But, to be fair, I had to be reminded he existed in the first place.

Hopefully, this is it for him in wrestling, period. The poor guy looks like just walking is agony for him.

Idk. He always disappears around that time every year, only to return as a "surprise entrant" in the Royal Rumble.

I wonder if WWE made a video made for India that's edited to portray him as the second coming of Hulk Hogan.

He'll get a Legends contract and make just as many appearances as before. So it's not going to feel THAT different.

I never read this report, and he leaves only to come back when they need him to job to someone that needs to look strong, so I never gave any thought to being gone.
Can't say I'll miss him though.

Should have teamed with Umaga when they were both at their peak

I had a soft spot for the big lug after his face turn - a turn the crowd forced. There was a battle royals on RAW and it was Khaki and, I think, Umaga and the crowd got on Khali's side with chants. Huge pop when he killed the heels.
Dude was awful but was a team player, had fun and took bumps I did not feel he needed to with his health to put his opponents over big. I respect Khali and hope his charity work in India keeps going strong.

I wonder if WWE made a video made for India that's edited to portray him as the second coming of Hulk Hogan. Nope they haven't, and honestly I don't see why you guys feel that the people here will buy him as someone as big as the Hulk or The Rock. He flopped in the Bollywood here and also in the Big Brother version of India. Still no offense to him, I wish him all the best in his future endeavors, he's a good human being.

Should have teamed with Umaga when they were both at their peak I would have been okay with this. Almost like a weird Colossal Connection meets Faces of Fear in terms of wanting to end John Cena.

Khali is always good fun in the Rumble, so I wouldn't mind if he just comes back for that every year.
