This thread is to discuss guys who you were CERTAIN were either permanently retired or dead/missing but you found out are still somehow active on the wresting scene...from the WWE down to the smallest indies.
I'll begin
Jimmy Snuka. He absolutely had some booking in 2013 and into 2014 as well. He looks like hell but at 71...shocked he's still going

He doesn't do too much, but Mil Mascaras is still active.

Wow Dory. I knew Terry was still occasionally active but Dory has to be a few years older.

I saw Ivan Koloff wrestle a chain match last year. He took a pretty stiff chair shot, too.

He doesn't do too much, but Mil Mascaras is still active. So his ring work is at the same level as 20-30 years ago. Does Gypsy Joe still wrestle?

When I got back into wrestling in 2005, after not having followed it since a decade earlier, I was quite surprised to see that Flair and Undertaker was still around and wrestled on weekly TV like everybody else on the WWE roster.

Not a big name or that old, but Navajo Warrior. I first saw him wrestle about 15 years ago for an indie promotion. I'm super surprised to see him still wrestling despite never really making it in the "big leagues."

I looked these two up on Wikipedia, and was surprised to see that Taka Michinoku and Dan Severn are still active/semi-active.

I looked these two up on Wikipedia, and was surprised to see that Taka Michinoku and Dan Severn are still active/semi-active. Well IIRC Taka is late 30s, and he started young. As for the Funks, well what can you expect from guys who were wrestling George Hackenschmidt in his twilight?

Does Gypsy Joe still wrestle? Last I had heard, Joe was in a nursing home in the Nashville area. At least I think it was the Nashville area. This was as of about a year and a half ago.

Abby apparently still takes bookings, though his "matches" consist of him never actually getting in the ring.

I honestly thought he was dead. I admit, I only know the name, but didn't realize he was alive.

Name won't mean anything to any of you, but Iron Mike Lyons popped up on the season finale of Rougeau Wrestling last week. Actually wrestled for International Wrestling of Montreal in the 80's.
I had not heard of him doing anything since the mid 90's. Maybe he needed the money and Jacques booked him to do a job. BOY was he bad.
