No, because he does Sports Entertainment.
And nobody who shoehorns the word Entertainment into every thing he can find can be that burnt out from it.

I don't think Vince "works full time" at all. It's surely a myth that Vince is some kind of hard worker.
He has two main TV shows a week, one he doesn't give much of a crap about clearly. The other gets written the day of the show. What work does he do the rest of the week? He probably goes in his office and has an old-man snooze until his secretary wakes him up so he can be driven home. He doesn't have much to do with NXT, he surely only gives final approval on merchandising, marketing, broadcasting negotiations/decisions etc - so other than that what is there to do?
He hs people to run everything; media, corporate, talent relations, live events, commercial etc. He may be asked to occasionally okay a final decision but essentially he's someone who once a week is involved in giving the final nod to a television show often not written until the day of the show.
.....unless they give him a hamster wheel to play in all week I think even at his age he'd find that "full time schedule" difficult to get burned out from.

Vince started to decline after he lost all of that money last year due to the network. That is what killed Vince's heart and desire. You see the results of that in the terrible and manic week to week booking we are all suffering through right now.

I think it's pretty obvious that Vince has been burnt out on wrestling since 2001, because he'd done everything there is to do in this business by killing his biggest competitors, otherwise he'd not be trying to make movies and doing 'sports entertainment' instead of wrestling and all that shit.

Pro wrestling is what his father promoted, goddammit. He's in the entertainment business and the business of putting smiles on people's faces!

HHH should take over, and bring a large inflatable pool around the television tapings each week. Vince and Dunn can write out pretend scripts and shove people in the pool all night long, while the business is placed in hopefully better hands.

I don't think he ever had a passion for wrestling, he always wanted to produce 'entertainment' and make money, everything else was secondary to that, wrestling just happened to be the family trade and a convenient vehicle for his ideas. When WCW folded, he found himself with everything he ever wanted, he had more money than anyone could spend in 4 lifetimes, two highly rated national TV shows and no competition to force him to put on the best product he can so he's spent the past decade producing a show for the benefit of Vince because he has a captive audience. It's just that now it's more noticeable because Raw is now PPV length and people can no longer say 'Well, at least Smackdown is good' as it's no longer anything but a Raw add-on.
I think deep down, he wants a new enemy, someone he can battle and pretend to be the underdog against. When he crippled the territories, he took aim at Joe Weider and Bodybuilding, when WCW went under, he set his 'sights on the NFL, all he has now is UFC and he's in denial about that.

Everyone who has commented on Vince's work ethic ever says he's a workaholic, though. Like this article full of sourced comments from current and former WWE employees. By all accounts, all he does is run the company and work out. Being the CEO of any company, even one as unconventional as WWE, is in no way a do-nothing, nap-all-day job.

Judging from his last appearance which looked like the first appearance as "grandpa" Vince he might still scream in the headsets of the announcers but it's clear he has lost all his gains physically and does not work out anymore.
He looked severely depressed after losing 500 million in 2014 and looks like he aged 10 years in 1 year. I guess losing half a billion to a failed network product will do that to you. And crying and hugging CM Punk.

For a guy who's had everything in his adult life bought and paid for by pro wrestling fans...I don't think he was EVER into pro wrestling. Also here is the exact moment Vince lost his will to live... {Spoiler}

It's difficult to get burned out when your sole interest is John Cena.
