I'll admit, having Ryback cut that promo last week was good timing for this. I just wish that if it had to end like this, at least have Ziggler, Ryback, and Rowan yelling or going crazy (especially Ryback). Even if it wasn't in the script, it probably would have not been much of a problem with Vince or whomever if they showed more emotion. It kind of cuts the momentum Ziggler and Ryback had.... and it doesn't help Rowan.

You know, I hate to criticize Cena in hindsight, but does he always have to be mopey?
This could have been a good example of when to show frustration for what just happened and how he played a part. Have him punch the mat, kick a rope, throw his hat down or maybe even a scream to show how upset he is that he can't do anything about it.
Instead, he looks like a confused kid who broke a window playing baseball.

Well...at least Ziggler won't have to put up with weeks of being embarrassed by the Authority and painfully jobbing to everyone under the sun. So there's that.

If Cena was to come out next week and go apeshit on members of the Authority, like really give them a solid ass whupping, then a lot of folks would side with him again. Having him mope around and look pitiful isn't helping anything with the product on TV.

Hell, if Raw opened next week with Cena basically beating either HHH or Rollins senseless until the Authority rehired the fired three, I'd love it.

Honestly the thing that bugs me about modern Babyface booking is they seem way to whipped. Have the babyfaces look angry, try attack HHH like they are about to/got fired so what's the worst they can do? None of this "make room for us guys!" "Okay dokie!" Nonsense. It not just also makes them look like pussies, but not very smart and oblivious beyond belief. Like "oh no bosses were thinking of suspending us and now want to get out of the ring before they make an announcement...hmmm no possible evil ulterior motives from the authority like say firing us?"
I remember that segment of in early 2009 where Randy Orton snapped and punted Vince in the skull before he fired him. That made Orton the hottest babyface in the company and most talked about segment. Fans could get behind someone of a guy who can stand up for himself when untreated fairly by his boss and outsmarting him the same time.

WWE will have thirty minutes of RAW to fill, if not more, with Ziggler and Ryback gone.

Maybe Cena needs to call Dwayne for pointers on how to get people rehired.

For once, I'd love a wrestler to actually go home after being fired and then refuse to come back because "hey, you fired me." I know a regular executive would know how to handle that, but I'd like to think an exec in the wrestling world would have a conniption trying to rationalize real world from kayfabe world like that. Well...at least Ziggler won't have to put up with weeks of being embarrassed by the Authority and painfully jobbing to everyone under the sun. So there's that. Or they'll be back on Smackdown and thus jobbing again to people quickly.

i like cena's vaguely confused expression during most of tht as if he's thinking "did i possibly have something to do with all this happenning, i'm not sure. what did i do again? people seem to be blaming me for something..."
